Great Waterfront Property

Just lovely
The home is charming and equipped with almost everything a guest could need. The location is great. Views are spectacular. We caught fish, took long walks, and explored the area. Shops and restaurants in the middle peninsula and northern neck area that we visited were very nice. The hosts were very responsive. Will try to visit every year.

Absolutely wonderful!!!
What a wonderful stay we had!!! The home was exactly as described and pictured! It was clean and had EVERYTHING we could possibly need!!! We relaxed on the porch, sat on the dock, cooked meals, rested after days of sightseeing, and just had a great mother-daughter trip!

Lovely Ferris Creek
Our stay was just about perfect! A beautiful home on a beautiful property with every amenity we needed. The private dock was great for fishing and just relaxing. The owners were friendly and responsive. The area offers quaint little towns, nice shops and good eateries. Our four day get away was "just what the doctor ordered." We would not at all hesitate to rent the property again.

Relaxing & Comfortable Retreat
We had such a wonderful weekend at the Ferry Creek Retreat! The house is wonderful – clean, well maintained, and it smells lovely as well. It is perfect for a comfortable and relaxing place to curl up and read a book or just watch the river. Great experience all around. I would highly recommend Ferry Creek Retreat.

We had a wonderful stay, the view is perfect! The cottage is so clean, Pam greeted us and showed us everything! Such a sweet person. The town is very charming, the first night we ate at Olivia's in Gloucester Court, food was delicious, owner was so nice, who is a life time resident, and gave us things to do and places to see.

Comfortable Cottage
Great view! Relaxing getaway. This very comfortable cottage offers everything for a enjoyable vacation spot. Close to Yorktown, Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg. Make sure you take the scenic Colonial Parkway when traveling between these three spots. Must eat at Olivia's in Gloucester Court House. Thanks Pam! We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Traveling for vacation. Stayed in another VRBO on the way which was not very nice. So when we walked into this property, it was like we were in heaven. So very comfortable. Beds were great! Clean. Comfortable. And always immediate communication with the property manager/owner. Will definitely return!

Fabulous retreat for rest and relaxation
I was planning a mini summer-vacation near Williamsburg, but wanted to avoid the crowds, and then came across this gem. Booking this property, I thought the pictures and reviews were likely too good to be true, but after being here a few days, I can certainly report that they are very accurate. The cottage was well appointed, comfortable and cozy, and, very important from my perspective, clean. Also, Pam, the owner was most helpful with answering my questions and providing assistance when requested. I will be returning again soon and look forward to enjoying another memorable stay.

Clean, Quiet, Couldn't have asked for more
Ferry Creek is an amazing little home away from home. Pam has thought of everything and really takes care of the place to ensure you have all the comforts of home. We kayaked right off the dock and we're able to crab and fish right there. Our dog loved being able to come down to the water with us too. The neighbors we met were all so nice. It's a short drive into town with restaurants. Make sure you check out Scoots and awesome BBQ joint that's worth the drive. We will be back to visit Soon!!

Beautiful serene spot on the water
We LOVED our stay at this magical cottage on Ferry Creek! The views from the windows and decks are absolutely gorgeous. Our host, Pam, was most helpful, taking special care to welcome us and share the details of this lovely property. It is a peaceful and cozy setting with plenty of seating for lounging about and comfy beds for a good night's rest. Pam's designer touches add to the beauty and uniqueness of this place. If you can tear yourself away from the rockers on the deck, there is plenty to see and do nearby in the darling town of Gloucester, as well as nearby Yorktown, Jamestown, and Williamsburg. We are big fans of this well maintained cottage on Ferry Creek and its warm and delightful owner!

Cannot wait to return!
We arrived after dark and our stay started with a lovely welcome....low lights, candles burning on the deck, and chilled champagne. Pam greeted us with a quick tour of the house and its amenities. The house was fully stocked and offered plenty of room. While the house is tastefully decorated, the decks and dock were the gems of this location! Pam provided local sights of interest and other recreational information but most of our time was spent sitting by the water and soaking up the sun. We definitely hope to return soon! Thanks, Pam, for making the entire process easy as pie!

Relaxation at its Best!
We had a wonderful week at Lisa and Portia's lovely cottage! I could have stayed another week. The home is tastefully decorated and the view excellent. It is conveniently located to visit a number of different areas. My husband fished while I went to area potteries and vintage stores. Restaurants and grocery stores were never more that 20 minutes away and very easy drives. We rested, read and relaxed. The home is outfitted with every thing you need. We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed many dishes that we don't usually cook at home. My only disapointment was that we brought too much food and didn't get to try but one local restaurant. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely home.
