Stacy Boulevard is home to the iconic "Gloucester Fisherman at the Wheel" sculpture -- a symbol of the fishing port's rich history as a working waterfront and as the subject of poets, painters, and movie makers.

Come see why so many are drawn to this city on the sea and stay in this lovely duplex vacation rental with views from every room which are full of cheery sunlight. Perched above the bustle of city life between the ocean boulevard and Gloucester's historic Main Street, this modern, open, two bedroom apartment is the perfect pied-à-terre for your "in town" seaside vacation.

Located on the second and third floors of a two family home, the main living area has plenty of plush leather seating, a 45' flat screen TV, a modern and fully equipped kitchen, dining nook, large water view deck and a new full bath. A spiral staircase leads up to two bedrooms including the master with a king bed, half bath and washer/dryer. A guest bedroom in the front of the house has its own deck and an extremely comfortable futon sofa which opens to a full-size bed, perfect for the occasional overnight guest. The living room sofa also opens to a queen size bed for extra accommodations.

Steps away from Gloucester's historic downtown,a wonderful spot for great food, music and quaint shops. Walk to outdoor dining along the harbor, the small beach around the corner, the Fiesta & other waterfront festivals and the extremely popular Summer Block parties and Farmer's Market. Stroll and swim from Pavillion Beach right out the door or walk along the harbor to beautiful Stage Fort Park, Cressy and Half Moon Beaches at the other end of the ocean boulevard.

New in 2019, a/c in master bedroom. PLEASE NOTE: Also although this property indicates that dogs are allowed, there are restrictions as to the type, number, and size of the dog.

Cute house and great location
We were pleasantly surprised with the layout of the small house. Lots of windows and open space made it feel much bigger. We were able to find on-street parking for one car and used the driveway for our second car. If you're looking for a downtown location with a water view, this might work for you!

We enjoyed our stay very much . Excellent location, especially if you have a dog ! Lots of restraunts in walking distance as well as beach and dog park! The house was peaceful to stay in . My only complaint about the property is that there is no air conditioning in the main level only upstairs in the bedroom so our first night was really hot there and we had to go buy a fan . Other then that it was very clean and comfortable! I definitely would recommend this house.

Location Location Location
Loved the location , but not enough to overlook the lack of cleanliness. AC only in master bedroom, other bedrooms side window had no shade and was loud being on the main road, also main entrance was awkward. Slider had no lock just a make shift board to put in track. Enjoy our stay, but would not return to this property due to the lack of cleanliness.

Nice property but not used to neighbors below
Very nice property and perfect for three adult males coming up to fish for blue fin Tuna with our friends from area! Be aware you will have people watching you and what you do on property which we were very respectful but we are on vacation and neighbor below who we tried to be thoughtful of! If you want privacy this might not be the best spot! We had to fish at 4:30 am every morning so we had lights out at reasonable hours for being on vacation but maybe not to their liking! Tough living on top of someone who is not on vacation! Every step you make I’m sure is heard downstairs! Very very cute property just not much privacy!

Treehouse treasure
From the moment we booked our stay with Atlantic Vacation Homes we felt taken care of. They couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive. A breath of fresh air is what it felt like staying at “Treehouse by the Sea.” It’s quirky design decor mixed with an amazing location make the perfect getaway. Even our little dog Benny was relaxed. Oh and great kitchen stocked w more than we are used to seeing at a rental. We highly recommend this unique property where it’s obvious the owners have put a lot of care and time into. We definitely will be back!
