"We booked one night in the lodge. The instructions for check in were easy to follow and our room and the communal areas (kitchen and bathrooms) were very clean and presentable. The lodge is right right next to the restaurant and Altho we did not eat there, the food smelt delicious."

"We had a nice stay, great location over looking river, we saw a Bandicoot in the garden one night. Would have been nice with little extras like milk, dishwasher tablets etc, tourist information, pool was dirty. But lovely overall "

"For the price the room was adequate we had booked the larger room with e beds but they made a mistake for the first night and had to stay in the single queen room 1 night pretty small. They did comp us that night which was nice of them and then stayed in bigger room which was nice and spacious and happy we got it....we did rebook this hotel for the end of our trip as well. No cooking facilities in the room has a small fridge and they provided a breakfast box with milk cereal and juice for the morning which was a nice perk. We did find a free barbeque at a nearby park (1 minute drive) and cooked up some burgers . It seems these barbeques are quite common around Tasmania."

Outstanding accommodation

"My family and I stayed at this beautiful luxurious home for our holiday. The accommodation exceeded our expectations, the layout of the home was very suited for my elderly parents located in a beautiful peaceful street with a beautiful view. The pantry was full of various herbs and spices, the coffee machine was easy to use, which catered for our coffee kicks for the day. Most of all, Mark and Miriam are amazing hosts with their prompt responses. The art on the wall is absolutely mesmerising, we had everything we needed and more to feel we were home away from home. Thank you Mark and Miriam. The pantry "
