"John welcomed us and was a remarkable host. We stayed in six different accomodations on this trip and this one was by far our favorite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and convenient. John gave us a great dining recommendation which was within an easy 8-10 minute walk. We would love to stay here again. "What a cute Inn. Hosts very responsive when asked a question. Able to walk to the shops and restaurants. Woke up and saw they had cleaned the snow off our vehicle!!"

"My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see and on-site parking is a big plus. The place is impeccably clean and having a continental breakfast ready in the morning was a nice touch to start the day. Staying in the oldest house in Salem was a very cool experience. "

"Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. "A very well kept and compact little apartment. Well stocked with everything (except they forgot dishwasher soap on this occasion). Two issues: the stairs up to the loft were fine for us, but might be difficult for anyone with walking issues. And the heating system was a bit of a mess. Upstairs roasted, while the downstairs main room was chilly, and the downstairs bedroom became a sauna if you closed the door. But for most people I'm sure this is not a winter time rental!"

"During our recent stay at Hotel Salem, we were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located near numerous shopping centers, making it easy to walk to various attractions such as the train station, food outlets, malls, and some charming pubs. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's adorable decor, which added a touch of charm to the clean and well-maintained premises. Additionally, the bar at the hotel served fantastic drinks that we greatly enjoyed.
