A really beautiful place and very tranquil. For the centre of Glastonbury the location and convenience are unmatched and it even has an acre of garden to explore! The host is calm and friendly and we wanted for nothing whilst we stayed there. Highly recommended and, should we return to Glastonbury, we’d stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay. Host was friendly, generous and very welcoming. The room was incredibly comfortable and the proximity to the town centre was ideal. This is a property we will definitely return to
We liked the whole experience from the owner and her friends everyone was friendly and nothing was any bother. The rooms and the location was just perfect. We hope to go again with a longer stay to see more of the sites .
Great base for exploring Glastonbury and that part of Somerset.Very comfy bed and we both slept very well. The room was huge and we had a very warm welcome when we arrived.Fantastic views across towards the town.
We had a lovely weekend at Chindit House - Felicity made us feel very welcome in her stunning house with beautiful tranquil gardens.
Breakfast was superb and individual dietary requirements catered for beautifully.
Easy walking distance into Glastonbury town and to the Tor.
Chindit House is fantastic. Felicity is a consummate host, the house is beautiful and filled with art, the two dogs are very sweet, breakfast was delicious. Would stay again whenever returning to Glastonbury - a real home from home.
I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the delightful Chindit House. A warm welcome from Felicity and her two dogs set the tone for my stay in a spacious, comfortable bedroom, relaxing in the dedicated guest living room and large garden area.
A perfect location, with everything in easy walking distance.
I cannot recommend Felicity and Chindit House highly enough, and would definitely stay again.
Perfectly situated just a short walk from the heart of Glastonbury High Street, set in a large private garden, this beautiful quirky house, built by Glastonbury's mayor a century ago, was a wonderful base to explore the Isle of Avalon. Grand spaces, original art, delicious homemade breakfast in the friendly dining room with fellow travellers and a welcoming hostess. Warm and cool!
We loved the homely feel throughout the house and the garden. It was great to be able to come and go as we wished and text what we wanted for breakfast. There was nothing we didn't like.
Chindit House is the most beautiful B&B. Felicity is absolutely lovely and made our stay amazing. We loved every minute. Wonderful twin room with 2 separate rooms and beds. Modern bathroom. Garden was magical.. what an awesome place to stay

Had a great stay at Chindit house. Beautiful house and it was so peaceful. The room was gorgeous and the bed , well wanted to bring it home so comfortable.
It was within walking distance to the Tor, the well and other attractions as well as the town centre. Beautiful breakfast and the long dining table enabled us to have great discussions both mornings with other guests. Felicity was very kind , allowing us to chill a bottle of wine. Great weekend thank you.

I was greeted by Felicity and her two adorable dogs in this beautiful house just a few minutes walk from Glastonbury center and all the sights. My room was simply gorgeous with the best bed I have ever slept in and a huge bathroom, as well as a lovely alcove looking out towards the garden. The owner was extremely helpful and generous. She asked me about allergies and accomodated my needs for breakfast. The breakfast was so healthy and delicious with fresh eggs, smoked salmon, muesli and fresh fruit, and a tea menu I have never experienced. The house is a very grand and old mansion with a long and interesting history and houses her beautiful collection of African art. I had access to the garden which is massive and a great place to relax and unwind. All in all this is definetly a place I will come back to over and over again. I cannot reccomend it more warmly!

We arrived rather late and were given a very warm welome by our hosts. It was rather late to find a restaurant so they provided tea and genourous portions of cheese and biscuits - for which they did not charge! This was served in the large guest lounge (which thankfully has no TV!)The loaned us some books about Glastonbury and its history which were very helpful.
The hosts are very artistic and this is reflected in the wonderful decor. The house itself is a large, interesting, late victorian mansion built by a stonemason for himself and as an advert for his work.
We stayed in the 'Gothic Room' which was well equipped and decorated. It includes a digital flat screen TV. It had been very wet and cold on our long trip and the room was warm and welcoming.
There is a large on-suite bath/shower room with a separate dressing room.
Breakfast was beautifully presented and cooked. We are vegi and that was absolutely no problem. There was a large selection of locally produced preserves etc as well as a choice of quality cereals, fuit and organic yoghurt.
Everything has been carefully thought about and only the best of everything used.
Altogether this is the best B & B we have been to over many years of travelling in the UK. Highly recommended - thanks Peter & Felicity for such a warm and cultured welcome.

Gorgeous place, huge, stylish room, sparkling clean, lovely toiletries and chocs, friendly hosts and delicious breakfast. All in all, totally fab. One tiny thing - would have loved a later check out - 10am a bit early.
