"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und punktet mit traumhafter Lage mitten in bewaldeten Hügeln, fast alleine. Die Gastgeber Amal und Rashid sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit und man hat den Eindruck,dass es ihnen wirklich wichtig ist,dass man sich wohlfühlt. Alles ist gepfelgt und man hat sich viel Mühe mit der sehr individuellen Einrichtung gehebn. Gerne jederzeit wieder."

"Fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and absolute peace and quiet. The property is exactly as the photos and description, with top quality appliances and spotlessly clean. A mix of modern and traditional French building. Very friendly and helpful owners, who live adjacent to the property but keep to themselves, although they only speak and email in French. Note the property is 2.5km outside Cales, the nearest boulangerie is 7km away in the next village and supermarket 25km away in...

"The house was exactly as advertised. It has everything you need for your stay including hairdryers! The pool is fantastic and the view from the house and pool is amazing. We spent many hours just sitting and looking! There is so much to do in the area. I definitely recommend a visit to the house and Souillac."

"Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Haus mit Topausstattung, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter, genau das Richtige, wenn man in Ruhe abschalten möchte. "Très jolie villa à côté de Souliac. Pas très loin de beaucoup de centre touristique du Périgord, une maison très propre et très agréable avec un barbecue et une piscine très calme. Les gens qu’ils ont accueilli ainsi que les propriétaires sont très sympa. Seul petit bémol si vous êtes en fauteuil roulant, prévoyez une petite rampe pour aller à l’extérieur."
