"DO NOT STAY HERE! Perhaps once upon a time, when the owners werent tired, grumpy and rude, this place may have been a great place for young families to stay and enjoy everything it said on the brochure. Now only local workmen 'live' there. We arrived to a run down, very dated scene and what first hit me when walking in, was the smell. Dust and old. Neat and tidy but very dusty. Back garden was cluttered with all sorts of stuff. Couldn't use the bbq due to plant cuttings and rubbish all over it....

"A lovely stay at a beautiful and unique resort. I didn’t expect such a walk to our room from reception, having an illness that limits my mobility it would have been helpful to have had the option to book a room a shorter walk from the entrance. The restaurant might also consider providing an urn for people wanting to make tea, rather than them having to wait to use the coffee machine just for hot water.
