"The pictures don’t do this cabin justice. In person it is breathtaking. The way the sun shines and lights the cabin in the day is just heavenly. Then Megan is the nicest host we’ve had. She responds to messages quickly she is very welcoming and accommodating. I definitely recommend this place if you need a break from everyone and everything. "

"We really enjoyed our long weekend at River Shoals Cabin! It felt very private, but was only a short fifteen minute drive to Helen. We enjoyed listening to the river from the deck. The downstairs area was perfect for our teenage girls. The cabin was very well stocked and super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area."

"You cannot find a better spot to stay to explore the area! We all had so much fun - even the teenagers were off of their phones for extended periods of time! Excellent selection of games and entertainment, the house is awesome, and the property is beautiful. Everyone was comfortable and it was a great spot to call home for a few days. Would definitely book again in a heartbeat."

"We had a great stay! Full kitchen with all amenities to cook. Loft area was a nice hangout for the kids. Very close to many sightseeing spots and fun. Only thing was the minimal resources for heat and it got pretty cold in the main area since it was only in the 20’s at night. "

"I stayed in the cabin for a month. It had everything I needed. Easy to get to. One bedroom on each floor so plenty of privacy if you had 2 couples. While there are other cabins nearby, the hot tub in located to allow privacy. Would definitely return. "
