"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Unggul. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home and our room was spacious, clean, and cold — a welcome paradise after our long boat ride. The villa felt private and was perfectly situated, just north of the strip of bars and restaurants. The beach was right across and there was plenty of space to lounge. "Amazing place, great location if you want some privacy from the buzzing area but also be close enough. Bathrooms are in a very nice outdoor but private concept. If you don't mind the wildlife, you might find a gecko in a bathroom. Ours was very cute, we named him Jerry "

"The place is really beautiful. The receptionist was very sweet person. She arranged snorkelling tour, laundry, transport at a very cheap rate. She also gave us little turtle souvenirs. The place is deep inside the island 2km from the port, so it's better to take a horse carriage. The area is a little quiet and dark at the night, so i suggest you to take a torch with you. The pool is very salty, but if you wanna chill by the pool there's a lot of areas. The canteen inside is decent."

"Had a wonderful stay at this traditional style, arty and well appointed boutique resort. Dolcemare has beautiful grounds and is extremely well located for the best part of Gili Air. Our whole stay was fantastic, made better by all the personal and thoughtful touches, such as sarongs and kimonos in the room, and a selection of considerate amenities ranging from toothbrushes, face masks & sanitary products. The staff were fantastic and also organised quality bicycles for us at a very fair cost....

"이 가격에 풀빌라를 이용할 수 있다는 점은 매우 좋습니다. 다만, 숙소로 가는 길이 항구에서 조금 거리가 있어서, 짐이 많은 경우 마차를 이용해야 하고, 비포장도로를 포함하고 있어 자전거 이용도 조금 불편합니다. 자전거는 무료로 대여가 가능하다고 되어있으나, 현장에서 자전거 렌트비를 요구합니다. 조식은 전날 미리 선택하면 룸으로 가져다 주는데, 선택할 수 있는 옵션이 많이 없고 퀄리티가 그렇게 높진 않습니다. 하지만 전반적으로 길리라는 섬이 좋았고, 프라이빗한 숙소에서 여유로운 여행이 되었습니다. "

"The villa is very close to the docks. Which is good for convienience. However, it does mean that you do hear some noise from the docks. Although it is only in the daytime. "As you’ll have seen from the other reviews, this really is a great place to stay. It’s a new build, so clean and modern. Really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. The staff were exceptional. "Fantastic family friendly hotel on the north of the island, where it’s nice and quiet and has easy access to the beach. Just a note it’s IDR150k for a horse carriage ride anywhere on the island , so staying here will cost you IDR300k each time you want to go out, unless you’re happy to walk of course but we travelled with a 5 year old, 10 month old and a 72 year old, so horse carriage was needed most of the time. Hotel Rooms are superb, grounds need a little refurb but imagine it’s tough to do in wet season. "
