Great stay at Samoset
The condo in Samoset is a great location with a lot of amenities. Unfortuantely, the pool is not heated and in late August was pretty cold, but overall the condo was as described and sufficient for a family of 5.

Great week at Samoset on Lake Winni
Our second year at Samoset community on Lake Winnipesauke in this nice townhouse. Had everything we needed and while the townhouse was close to the community entrance ( and no view of the lake), it was a short walk to the lake and big pool! A bonus is that it's very close to the second smaller pool ( which was great for me as a swimmer!). AC was excellent , beds were very comfortable, living room also comfortable with big screen tv. Lots of towels ( including beach towels) . Overall a great week and fair price. Vacasa app was easy to use and if you need to talk to a person - they are available !

Buyer Beware
The property itself was beautiful and in a lovely location. HOWEVER, you are not dealing with the owner but a property management firm. There was no cable TV which I found to be unacceptable. They also didn't leave any K Cups for the coffee machine. I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling like I do when I stay at other types of properties, including hotels.

The property was clean, some of the furniture was a little worn but nothing to worry about. The complimentary dishwasher tablets, shampoo, etc saved us having to buy huge packs so were appreciated. The big let down was the internet connectivity as the password provided did not work! Despite contacting the management agent on several occasions (no mean feat without the internet) they just kept giving us the same password which the system rejected as being incorrect. Planning routes and what to do/where to go meant trips to supermarkets or Starbucks to use their internet - not what I paid for! The condo was reasonably well equipped, but lacked a hairdryer, which was unexpected, and things which would have been nice to have were wine glasses (only plastic tumblers provided), a kettle ( for tea drinking brits), scissors and a better quality corkscrew. Overall the condo was in a good location, but the lack of internet really was not what we booked and paid for.

A week at Samoset
Condo was average , moderately clean when we arrived .Nice kitchen- Plenty of utensils/dishes/cookware. Coffee maker is not as pictured/listed- it’s a keurig. We brought ground coffee and had to go to the store for k cups . Walk to lake/pool is about 5 mins downhill. Something to consider if traveling with small children. Parking can be tight especially on weekends. Screened in porch could use update. Overall a nice place .
