Nice, rocky shoreline is accessible by foot and fun to explore, but not ideal for swimming or launching kayak -- no worries, a couple very good kayaking locations just up the road. We had an outstanding visit and wished we'd had another day or two to enjoy the area."

"Perfect spot for our 5-day getaway with our two dogs. Waking up to the lake view each morning was a great way to start the day. (We were even lucky enough to have a bald eagle hanging out on the property.) The cottage was stocked with everything we needed to feel at home—including a thoughtful treat basket for both us and our pups! We enjoyed every moment and look forward to returning in the future. The town is really cute and an easy drive if you want to explore the area around Murray State. "

We loved the screened in porch and the views from the living room. It rained while we were there but we didn’t mind because of the beauty surrounding us. It truly is a place of paradise! "When we arrived the surrounding housing in the circle was not appealing but the houses on each side of the property were very nice! Lisa had delicious brownies and a Happy Anniversary card waiting for us on the bar! The house was perfect for 2 people. Decorated very well and very clean. Quiet! Saw lots of deer, raccoons and other wildlife. Large deck with very nice seating and view of the creek. Fishing did not produce a bite. Saw turtles and ducks. Bring bug spray for the evening outdoors."

"Loved the cabin and the property, the koi pond was definitely a group favorite. Everything was absolutely beautiful and the owners were very quick to respond! I will say this is probably not a place for large groups the kitchen was very small, gorgeous, but only built for a few people. "

"Enjoyed our time at Kings Creek. Seasonal campground with cabin rentals. Cabins are all mostly waterfront and adjacent to the marina and office. Pontoon and fishing boat rentals are within steps of the cabins. Kayaks avail at no charge and my kids loved paddling around the bay. Cabin was clean and had all the basic necessities, walmart within 20 min so we put an olive order in for pick up and had everything we needed for the week. "Went for a “girls trip” (91 year old Mom and 3 -60 something’s) to visit Patti’s for mom’s birthday. The home is very comfy with everything you need. Plenty of room. And clean. The location was great. We had dinner at Patti’s 2 nights. Enjoyed strolling around the property and seeing the lights. We even had a little Christmas tree in the house! Wish we could have stayed longer. This location would also be great for lake activities as the lake/dam is very close by. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at King Creek. The cabin was really nice and the perfect size for us. The whole resort had a great, fun feel to it. We rented a pontoon, as well and it was very nice and reasonably priced. We highly recommend staying here and plan to make it our yearly destination!"

"Our 2 night stay at Condo on the Cove was a perfect relaxing getaway for the family. The property was exactly as described, well supplied with everything we needed, and the host Kimberly was very responsive in answering questions. The location in the cove by the lake was private, quiet and very scenic. There was also a country market a short druve up the road with a deli, homemade pizza etc. Had a great time!"
