We are close to the water, expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.

Please note that the second bedroom is accessible via a ladder up to the loft area.

Christmas Visit
Our daughter and son-in-law stayed there for 2 nights when their visit overlapped with our other daughter and son-in-law's visit. It's a very cute condo/cabin (?) - the only drawback was the very narrow and steep steps leading up to the second bedroom. Our son-in-law slept up there, and he is 6'1" so it was a bit awkward for him. It probably would have been a better idea for our petite daughter to have slept upstairs instead! Other than that, they said it was very nice and comfortable. I did go over with them to help check in and get them settled and thought it was very pretty.
