You stay in a 3 bedroom apartment in the family's farmhouse just outside of Grindelwald, Switzerland. "Elisabeth and Fritz are lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. They even sold us eggs and fresh farm milk. The farm is spick and span, and we were welcome to explore the surroundings. We would stay at Altoesch again anytime! Eve"

"We stayed in the old property. The new property is not yet opened. The hosts are wonderful and their children adorable. This is a farmstay, so know that smells from the farm animals will be present! We even milked the cows one evening! Perfect, breathtaking location."

"This place was nice to stay in interlaken. Close you interlaken west station, close to markets. Interlaken is not a big town so you can walk everywhere if you have your stay booked in interlaken. Because its a self check in there is no one in the front desk to get service. If you need extra service such as towels, you would need to talk to people in the morning around 10am when they are here to clean rooms."

"We enjoyed spending Christmas at this Chalet! Monika was a wonderful host and even provide Fondu cheese for us on our arrival. Kitchen was well equipped, hairdryer provided and espresso machine. Chalet was cozy and warm! Would definitely stay here again."

"I had a great stay at Essential by Dorint Interlaken. Near train station makes travel easy and modern clean room is a plus. Breakfast was good and friendly staff added to the experience. What makes it unique it is conveniently located near shops, supermarket and restaurants. Some rooms have limited views and bit too warm but overall it is worth staying. Would surely recommend. "
