"Atrocious customer service. We booked through Expedia and we were not let in. We’ve had no issues like this on other reservations. I called the owner and he laughed at me and hung up. We were stranded for both nights. If you don’t come at exactly the time he wants you to be there, you will not ever be let in. This was so unsafe. This place takes money and takes advantage of travelers. Much better places to stay in this area. "

"La Villa was one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. The rooms and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It is easily accessed from a main road and access to the supermarket (10 mins walk) but it feels very private and exclusive. We stayed in the ground floor pool view room which was well equipped and neatly furnished. The highlights of La Villa were the wildlife, gardens and large pool. "It’s like an Oasis in amongst a very run down area . Streets are quite dirty and don’t give a great impression when you first arrive. The owners responded quickly when there we a few issues with the water and some facilities. The place was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was good. There is a nice pool and sun beds but they charge you €8 per day to use it and you can use if after 6pm which we weren’t made aware of. Close to the beach, restaurants and bars. "
