There is a 2 mile+. poorly maintained road that you need to take to arrive. Once you reach the house it is 57, steep steps to walk down to the house. You will get a workout staying here. "The property is an old Tuscan farmhouse with a difficult layout and extraordinary number of dangerous stairs. We had no idea that all the bedrooms were accessible only using old steep outdoor staircases that had no handrail. The property listing should make that clear. "What a treasure! Maria and Costanza looked after us wonderfully in their little cottage in the hazy fields of Tuscany.
