"This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. "Beautiful 15th century villa , with manicured grounds . Restaurant was excellent, but rather expensive . Bfst was excellent. 4 km out of Lucca on Busy highway , so couldnt walk into town . Partially offset by a bus route appropriately 600 meters from property. Enjoyed walks in the countryside. Loved our stay overall !!"

"I got really lost finding the right bus and Giacomo was really helpful and eventually came to pick me up in his car, which was fabulous as I was tired and with a big bag. The house is a lovely old house and the room was clean and perfect with an ensuite. The staff on reception were especially friendly and helpful and arranged restaurant reservations for us and checked ahead with all these restaurants to make sure they catered for gluten free.
