"Due to some confusion, we were upgraded to a suite, but most of what I’ll say seems to apply to all sea view rooms. "The stay in Casa di L'Alivu was excellent! The host is very friendly and helpful and the check-in and checkout was very comfortable. The room - we had the maisonette suite - was much to our liking. It is not the most modern furniture, but it is practical and charming, and did the job very well. The windows are a bit harder to open, but they do all work, the bed is very comfortable. "Big appartment for a budget rate, close enough to the ferry port and nearby supermarkets to allow for walking to and from, but let down by provision of dirty teatowel, hard floors and thin ceilings resulting in no sleep possible until after midnight due to noise (talking and movement) from above. Beautiful relaxing villa

"Our family had a wonderful stay in this spacious, relaxing and well equipped villa. It was a perfect base for exploring the north of the island, but was equally brilliant for just spending a lazy day around the pool. The terrace has amazing views, particularly as the sun is setting. It’s a short walk to the beach and there is a small shop just a couple of minutes drive. It is however a reasonable walk from town (30+ minutes) but a quick easy drive. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to return soon x"

"Vincent’s home is perfect. We loved waking up to the view of the bay, listening to the birds and peace and quiet and privacy out in the deck. The kitchen is excellently stocked to make lunch and dinner every day. The bed was very comfortable. Everything you could need was in the house. Vincent was communicative, thoughtful, friendly. We are already trying to plan our next visit to Saint Florent and would stay at Vincent’s home every time. Thank you!"

"Great access to lovely beach, although it does shelve quite steeply so not so suitable for small children. Beach faces west so lovely sunsets. Chalets are adequate. Much nicer than mobile homes/caravans, although they are fairly basic. Unfortunately the kitchens do not have either an oven or kettle although this is not uncommon. Pool was lovely and great for small children too. Staff were polite and site was clean. Plenty of parking in carpark and trolleys were available to move luggage to and from. "

Great home for a family vacation

"We enjoyed staying in this home for a family reunion. The view is amazing and we enjoyed the pool, pétanque court, outdoor dining table, and all the amenities that were available. The house is very well situated - the beach is just a 10-minute walk down the hill, and the village of St Florent is 5 minutes by car. We highly recommend it!"

Absolutely fantastic stay!!

"A fantastic family house that we couldnt have asked more from. A true gem overlooking St Florent with a stunning beach and activities a 10 min walk away. The terrace and heated swimming pool were perfect, especially in the evening with the sunsets. I Would highly recommend to anyone considering a trip to the north of corsica. The town itself has all the ammenitites for cooking in or eating out. I would have given more stars if the software would allow. 10*"
