Disliked: Amenities
Not really as advertised, advertised as a “whole apartment” with “kitchen” and ability to cook but it was only a tea kettle, no fridge or microwave it was very tiny little room. They require you to wash the dishes but provide only scented hand soap i got stomach upset while there, i think perhaps from using glasses that had been washed with hand soap. There is no elevator to certain rooms which are located off of different staircases so you must carry everything up and down flights of stairs. It’s in the redlight district on a street covered in trash and a man exposed himself to me outside the building. There is no staff on the premises to prevent such men from entering the building or waiting outside of it to sa women who stay there.

Ghent trip
I am afraid we were disappointed by this property. The area was convenient and check in was well described and easy. The description however was misleading and it was fairly clear the details we had been given belonged to a different apartment in the house, as much had been made of the TV and there was none.Perhaps we should have guessed from the price, but the description strongly suggests a degree of luxury when in reality the accommodation has more of a hostel vibe and was not what my elderly mother was expecting. In addition we arrived on an extremely cold February evening and the heating was not on at all. There was no bin and only 1 set of towels for 2 people (1 small hand towel and 1 larger towel). The manager did respond quickly to put communications and provided us with extra towels the next day.
