"This property worked perfectly for our family. We were in town to celebrate my Uncle's 90th birthday and this allowed us to be "nearby" to him and to downtown and to all we needed for the long weekend. The hosts were excellent with communication and attention to questions. The house was wonderful. We missed a very few small things (a toaster and working can opener) but made do. "Southern Hospitality is real. The property was great but the hosts were even better. They lived in the neighborhood and came by to fry up some fresh southern foods. Soft shell crab, catfish and shrimp as well as an authentic crab boil with crab fresh off the boat. The accomodations were excellent, juke box had all the songs we looked for, pool table was well kept. They even lent us some fishing poles and tackle, caught some crappie and bass right off the dock. "Have stayed at VRBO's before and always got communication from property manager.24hrs before check in, I received an email from the property manger saying I would get check-in instructions in another email.3 hrs before check in, never got check in instructions after numerous emails, texts and calls. Called VRBO and asked for a refund.I will use VRBO again as it was not their fault the property manager never responded."

"We stayed here to be close to the airport to catch a 7 am flight. The place was clean and quiet. We caught an uber to downtown Bourbon street which was reasonably priced. The free shuttle in the morningwas perfect."
