"Wonderful hotel and fantastic staff who were happy and cheerful every morning and throughout the day. I don’t know how they managed. Peter was exceptionally pleasant and great to chat to. "A lovely old refurbished house on a quiet street just off the water front of Sliema. Breakfast good, very nice staff. Some guests had problems with the room key cards. Sadly there is no social space and only one hard chair in the room. However the rooms were good and i enjoyed my stay."

"Beautiful property located within walking distance of Victoria. A real oasis of peace and calm. Matthew and Clementa were so welcoming and offered great advice on walks, restaurants and sights. We based ourselves here and were able to complete most of the Gozo coastal walks. Good public transport. Would highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely 6 days at the Old Mill, the hosts were kind and friendly, full of useful local knowledge. We did hire a car which afforded us some freedom, it is a little isolated, but there is a bus stop opposite and Bolt operates. My daughter and I were lucky to have the room with a large balcony over looking farm land and to the sea. We sat there at night too, listening to the silence, or fireworks or star gazing. "Loved the farmhouse and especially the pool and hot tub. In Sept, still warm enough to use the pool. The area is so quiet, you’d think there are no tourists. Simona was very helpful upon checkin and easy to reach during our stay. Upon departure when we could not prebook a cab for 5 am, she did it for us or we would have been stranded. Bus system in Gozo / Malta is great but not available if you must leave early in the morning to catch a flight. Overall the whole trip was awesome. "

"We stayed for four weeks. House for us was in a quiet location that suited us perfectly. The farmhouse had limited comfort to two very uncomfortable sofas and an aging TV. I only say this because to relax was quite difficult if you don’t go out. We didn’t use the pool as it was to cold. A decent enough kitchen but again aged. But dog friendly was a bonus. House keeper was very nice."
