"We did not get any room when we reached despite having a prepaid deluxe room, at reception we were told to enquire with hotels.com customer care. We had to wait in 30 minutes in rain at reception to discover that they will not able to provide any room. Customer care at hotels.com were communicating via chat, after waiting for 45 minutes in uncertainty i decided to look out for an option on my own. "This is a well maintained property with limited (8 rooms) capacity. Staff is very helpful and prompt in service. The surroundings of this property are serene and beautiful. It's peaceful in and around. The only improvement I think can be made in some common area development for residing guests (dining area and some recreational area) and food options in breakfast. ROSEATE Worth a Try!

"Very nice property at the Ganges, around 200 steps down but a steep climb. Food was exceptional and service as good. Very nice breakfast and great service standards! The rooms are not designed properly, even a hair dryer doesn't have a socket in the washroom or next to any mirror. Very stringent on their rules which may rightly suit them but can be quite hard on the guests. Adjacent to road hence even at night the cars sound etc is very loud in the rooms. Very nice bar and good cocktails offered. Expensive overall. Cant directly easily spot the ganges from the rooms / property however a little walk down and voila you are inside the river! We did an aarti at the ganges with all friends and was very scenic! Some of us did a yoga session at the poolside and was quite serene. Location is away from main city rishikesh hence away from the hustle and bustle. Taj Anand Kashi just 5 - 10 mins drive away."

Different Room provided but it was much better

"We booked family grand room. However, we were given a room that was completely different from the photos of the room that is in description. While the room could fit 3 adults and was as big, the decor of the room resembled the rooms with earthly decor. This was initially disappointing. The room as per photos were all booked out. The management went above and beyond in service to make up for this change and after 3 nights we were given the room that is shown in photos. Having compared both rooms, we found the original room (earthly decor) was more practical with small kids as this room was completely flat and did not have any stairs. the rooms that are shown in photos has stairs. Also the original room (with earthly decor) had TV facing the bed which kids and us much referred. I would highly advise that whoever gets this earthly decor room as family grand room and while this may not be what you expected, this room may be better for what you need as a family. "

"Our stay at Tehri Retreat by Himalayan Eco Lodges was nothing short of magical. If you’re craving serenity, waking up to the perfect sunrise over the mountains, surrounded by the soothing sounds of chirping birds, and enveloped in lush greenery—this is the place to be. The cottages offer a peaceful retreat, with exceptional staff who made us feel right at home. We were amazed by the location, not just for its beauty but also for the great mobile internet connectivity, which kept us connected while still feeling away from it all. Being just 45 minutes from Tehri Lake for thrilling water sports and the same distance from Kanatal for adventurous jeep safaris, this retreat is the perfect balance of relaxation and excitement. Our 4-day trip was so unforgettable that leaving felt bittersweet. We can't wait to return and relive this experience all over again. This place truly has our hearts, and we will definitely be booking here again."
