Coziee Lodge - Hostel

2.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (118)
"Seemed like the hostel was filled with locals rather than travellers. Pretty hard to sleep due to street noise and obnoxious exit signs that illuminate the whole room. Ended up leaving early as one guy in the room seemed like he had the plague and was coughing horrendously loud all night. Obviously this isn’t really the hostels problem but I think it sums up the vibe of the place."

"Great location across the street from Chinatown Point mall. Short walk to People's Park Complex, Chinatown, and Clarke Quay. Comfortable quiet rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Note easiest access from MRT is to exit to Chinatown Point mall, then cross Upper Cross street. Trying to exit to Upper Cross street from the MRT station actually puts you further away."

Hotel 81 Premier Princess

2.0 star property

"The staff on the first night had limited knowledge of English. After that, different staffers' English was very good. Overall, everything met my expectations except: 1. The shower stall had no door so water spilled to near the door 2. No bedside tables 3. No ice vending machines in a hotel where temperatures could be way above 30 degress Celsius 4. The soap dispenser's cover was broken and could not be mounted on the dispenser 5. Area is kind of low class but, because of that, eateries are...
