Our room in the Abbey overlooked the Moselle River and the town of Pont a Mousson. Many fine dining establishments are within 15 minutes walking distance from the Abbey. It is historic, beautiful and serene."

"If you don’t expect the Ritz after paying YMCA prices and judge this place on what you paid, then I couldn’t not give it 5 stars. Check in was easy, the room wasn’t the biggest but it had a large, clean and comfortable bed. The en suite was small but functional and without issue. Parking was free, always a bonus, and it had air conditioning, which was a godsend. I’ve stayed at much more expensive hotels this trip that didn’t. My only moan is why provide a coffee machine but no pods or even cups to make a coffee in? Surely, as a traveller, I’m not expected to travel with a selection of pods in the hope one might work in your machine and bring my own cup to drink it in? Other than that, all is good. "
