Cricket House: Great Location; can rent with Culp House

A charming modern cottage in a great location of downtown historic Gettysburg. Ideal for a quiet getaway or honeymoon, or for two couples, or for a family of four. Has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and can sleep four guests. Can be rented with the Culp House, which sleeps another six guests. Managed by the owners of The Brickhouse Inn, Gettysburg's premier bed and breakfast, who will ensure that you have a great stay!

Please note that The Cricket House is a vacation rental property, so guests are not entitled to breakfast at The Brickhouse Inn, nor to recieve packages. However, we can arrange a licensed Battlefield guide.

Loved the Cricket House - I would recommend it as a place to call home while visiting Gettysburg! It is close to the center of town and just a couple of blocks from many attractions.

A must stay location to enjoy downtown
Conveniently located property that’s within easy walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Very quaint older cottage but clean. Small kitchen but we only cooked breakfast there and enjoyed the local restaurants.

Great Place to Stay
The Cricket House was a great place to stay for our first trip to Gettysburg. The battlefields were close by and many restaurants were within walking distance. We had one small mechanical issue during our stay and it was taken care of quickly. The beds very comfortable and everything was very clean. The host, Brian gave excellent recommendations for restaurants as well.

We were very pleased with the location. On a quiet side alley with plenty of parking-easy in easy out. Lots of restraunts close by, and just a couple blocks from the battlefield. Could easily accomodate 4 adults. Nice, private, outside sitting area.

Annual Gettysburg Trip
Spent the weekend in Gettysburg exploring the city and rich history. The cricket house was perfect for the four of us (two adult couples). The whole place was super cute and well located for us. Short walk to the square, shops, and restaurants. The backyard was well landscaped and just adorable- probably my favorite feature of the home. The only *minor* note about the house was the water temperature; it was incredibly hot!

This property was a great location on a quiet street. We parked the car when we arrived and we’re able to walk to everything. The house was clean and comfortable for 4 adults and spent most of the home time outside, enjoying the beautiful yard.

Quaint cottage in a great location
My children and I loved staying at the Cricket House. Highlights included a well stocked kitchen, English cottage feel and easy walking distance to great restaurants and shops. The house was clean, warm and welcoming. The hosts were friendly and I would highly recommend this accommodation for people staying in the Gettysburg area.

Great Getaway!
The Cricket House is adorable! Spotless (and I’m a clean freak), cozy and conveniently located to the square. We had a fun 3 days and loved the house. One piece of feedback- might be time to replace the upstairs mattress. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Property is set in a great location close to town but not on a busy street, secluded backyard is very nice and makes you feel like your not in the city. Off Street parking that fit my van with no issues. Will recomend to family and friends

Charming property in a sterling location. Very nice and responsive hosts. Could not have a better stay. Plenty of private parking. Rear covered patio and garden is perfect for morning coffee and evening nightcaps. Short walking access to Central Gettysburg. We will most definitely return.

Family Vacation
This was our 3rd stay at the Cricket House. We enjoy its proximity to the town square, the battlefield, and to the larger stores outside the older part of Gettysburg. This time we brought our 14 yr-old grandson for his first visit to Gettysburg. The house provided a clean, comfortable space for all three of us. Nice beds. The shower downstairs is large & the upstairs jacuzzi a treat. We made use of the smart TV in the evenings. We hope to stay again in the future.

Beautiful house, great location
This house was perfect for the two of us to celebrate New Year's in Gettysburg. Only a short walk to the square for the New Year's Eve festivities. Would love to come back when the back yard is grown back from the winter kill off. Oh, and our dog liked the house too, The fenced in back yard was a plus for her. Awesome house!

100% Charming!
The house was just delightful! Well maintained and super clean. Very comfortable beds and stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Lots of towels. Great location! A few blocks from the town circle. Owners were great! Easy access and quiet surroundings. Backyard was nice to have a cup of coffee in the morning! Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!!!!
