Gettysburg history
We enjoyed our stay so much. The property was excellent. We were there for Halloween and enjoyed the Trick or Treaters. So much fun and family time. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit. I would recommend this property and we will definitely stay again.

Fabulous Historic Home with All the Modern Amenities
We cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home was spotless! Parking was free and enough for 4 vehicles. There was firewood for a perfect Fall night at the firepit. The 4 full bathrooms, including one that was handicap accessible, were an excellent feature. Can't wait to come back!

First, communication with host was great and very responsive. Location was perfect. Only a couple of blocks from the middle of Gettysburg. House had a nice layout and was an exceptionally clean. Decorated very nice. It was also very well stocked with supplies, bedding, etc. only slight minimal issue was we thought there were two double futons upstairs and there was really only one single. There was sectional couch that accommodated our needs. Easily sleeps nine people. Can do the 12 it references utilizing the couches. None of the 10 of us that stayed complained about being uncomfortable.. would definitely stay again!

Excellent place, perfect location
This place is the perfect spot for experiencing Gettysburg. A 2 min stroll and you’re in the town square, a nice 5 minute walk the souvenir shops on Steinwher it really is the perfect location. The house has everything we needed, will definitely be staying here again

Historic Stone House
Beautifully restored stone house with all modern amenities. Within walking distance of Gettysburg Square with restaurants and shopping. Short drive to Gettysburg Battlefield. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great house in Gettysburg
What a wonderful house! You can’t beat the location - near the Gettysburg square - and the cleanest VRBO we have ever seen with everything you need! Loved the patio and enjoyed its use with plenty of seating. Pawel was a very responsive host! I chose this house based on the many positive reviews, and it was a great choice!

Amazing House & Great Location
This was our first time staying at this property, but it definitely won't be our last! This was such a charming, well-maintained house located within walking distance for all things in Gettysburg that we wanted to do. The check-in process was seamless and there was plenty of space.

Fantastic
Love the property. Second time we stayed there and would stay again. Only issue we had is that some of the appliances are touchy to use. A hair dryer was missing from the one bathroom, but there were other hair dryers available to use. Overall, we love this property.

One of the best VRBOs I've stayed at
This property is nothing short of amazing. It was so cool getting to stay in a house that was there during the Battle of Gettysburg. I am an avid visitor to Gettysburg (going at least once a year for 15 years) and this was one of the most enjoyable stays. The house is was, very well-equipped, and everyone was super comfortable inside and outside in the patio/yard area. The host was responsive and let us in earlier than check-in time because the house was ready. It was awesome and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you! :)

Family getaway at Gettysburg
Perfect location to experience defining moments of America’s history. The home itself is a relic of the past yet is filled with all of the modern amenities for which we so casually take for granted. Within a short walk of the home is located an important battle location, shops, restaurants and many other landmarks of the past. The host was very responsive and our move in and move out could not have been smoother . Outstanding trip, a thumbs up and highly recommended.

Very comfortable and relaxing
This was a first time experience for us. When we travel, we usually stay in hotels. This home is an exceptional place to stay, so much nicer than a hotel especially when traveling with a group. Very clean, organized, and spacious. Host was always prompt with responding to our questions. Home was fully equipped to meet our needs. We are huge water drinkers, and there was even cold water for us in the refrigerator and ice in the freezer. The fire pit was cozy. Host provided the wood for the fire as well. Even though the wood was wet, we had a great time rejoicing when we finally got it going. Highly recommend staying here. Located very close to shopping and site seeing in Gettysburg. We easily walked to both and to dinner. Host provided a list of area restaurants and things to do. Very thoughtful touches. Greatly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic house to hang out at or use as home base for sightseeing!
We visited Gettysburg as a halfway point to connect with old friends we hadn’t seen in years. The house was the perfect meet up location! Plenty of room for our tween/teen kids to go off and read, play board games, watch TV, or use the arcade game on site. Plus, a well outfitted kitchen for us to cook breakfast and dinner, and for the adults to stay up talking and catching up while kids slept soundly. We were just there one night, but it was a great space - lots of sleeping options/extra bedding so we could set kids up comfortably, extremely clean and tidy, quiet and easy to get to/park at. We didn’t explore locally because we’d all been to Gettysburg before and were just here to hang out together, but the location would be a perfect hub to site-see from.

Best VRBO we've ever stayed in!
OK, our family travels a good bit, and we have stayed in many VRBO/Airb*nbs, and this is hands down the nicest property we have ever had the pleasure to rent. First off, it is a beautiful historic home that has been wonderfully renovated/expanded. It maintains great vintage character with all of the necessary modern luxuries. The upstairs bedrooms are HUGE. Both with individual living rooms & private baths. So much room, wonderfully appointed, and tastefully decorated for the holidays. Pawel (the owner) is beyond Superhost status, he's like a SUPERsuper host. It is in the perfect location in downtown Gettysburg, and you can walk to all the shops and restaurants in 5 minutes. And the place was clean, clean, clean. Spotless. Immaculate. Also very nice touches like a cart outside to assist you with your luggage down the little sidewalk from your private parking space. Many different coffee selections, and an impressive spice rack. Even extra dog food & bowls! Did I mention the arcade game? The backyard was beautiful, it was a little cold when we were there so we didn't take advantage of it, but we will upon our return. Our family kept walking around saying "Best VRBO ever!" I'm not kidding. Don't forget a penny to put on the stone wall! You'll see ;) I will never stay anywhere else in Gettysburg. This place was amazing.
