The checkin was really unprofessional, nothing was prepared, all data had to be filled out again on paper, the staff was absolutely not welcoming. They did not even inform me about a 25 EUR early checkin fee upfront. They gave me a room right above the smoking area. It smelled and was noisy. At the checkout they claimed I had breakfast. Never did and never ordered it. The front desk staff was not welcoming or friendly at all. Not what I expected at this house. Poor!

Das war mein zweiter Aufenthalt im Residenz Hotel in Gera, sehr ruhig und zentral gelegen, Straßenbahn direkt vor dem Hotel. Wer gerne läuft, der ist auch rasch auf dem Markt im centrum. Ich buche meistens größer, die Suiten sind grandios ☺️, die Studios auch nicht verkehrt!! 👍👍👍🤓

Toller Vorweihnachtsurlaub!
Ganz tolles Erlebnis. Die Preise waren außerhalb der Saison recht günstig, das Personal freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer toll, das Frühstück nicht schlecht, die Bar war super ausgestattet und der Barkeeper war super!

Geschäftstreffen
Leider wurden unsere Geschäftspartner aus Ungarn am ersten Abend in der Lobby von dem zuständigen Kellner sehr unfreundlich behandelt. Leider hatte der selbe Kellner einen Tag später sein unmögliches Verhalten nochmals gezeigt. Wir hatten unsere Geschäftspartner bei ihnen zum Abendessen eingeladen. Leider wurden wir sehr unhöflich des Platzes verwiesen weil wir im falschen Raum Platz genommen hatten. Somit sind wir dann mit 10 Personen in einer Gaststätte in Gera mit reichlicher Verspätung zu unserem wohlverdienten Abendessen gekommen.
