This hotel was impeccable in design, service and quality. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They gave great recommendations for shopping and helped with late arrival due to flight changes. I highly recommended The George Hotel for travelers.

Beautiful Hotel located on the main street of historic Georgetown. Convient to great restaurants, shopping and The Kaminski House Museum. Room was exceptionally clean, bed was comfortable and we loved the pampering spa products and robes! Will definitely stay again.

The George was a great hotel. Has a great outdoor bar and sitting area adjacent to the boat docks. Convenient, in town, walkable - Georgetown is lovely and this hotel accentuates that experience. If you visit Georgetown SC - this is a must stay hotel.

My wife and I were so pleased with our stay at The George, the hotel is perfectly situated where you walk out the front door and you are right in town. All the public spaces are beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained. Every staff member that we encountered were extremely pleasant and accommodating. This was our second time staying at The George and it was just as wonderful as our first. The whole hotel is stunning and our room matched! Everything was very clean and just gorgeous! Our server, Taylor, at The Independent went above and beyond with service and made the birthday we were celebrating extra special! We came by boat and were able to text with the front desk and Preston was kind enough to call ahead to the marina for us which was so so appreciated! Can’t wait for our next stay at The George!
