Welcome to Xanadu...
A Secluded & Relaxing Waterfront Oasis.
Completely renovated and updated. Fully air-conditioned 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath 1,800sf house with magnificent views of Elizabeth Harbour and Stocking Island.
2 King suites, 1 with ensuite. 3rd. bedroom hosts a Queen.
Wifi.
2 patios for finding some 'me' time.
A large deck that spans the front of the house to catch up on rays in one of the chaise lounges, relax on the couch and watch the boats sail into the Harbour or dine alfresco with the outside dining table that seats 4-6 people, all the while watching the ever changing magical hues of the turquoise water.
Indoors- enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, 5 burner gas stove, elec. oven, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, etc... stocked pantry. Everything you need, just add your groceries.
Dining table that fits 6-8 people.
Large sunroom overlooking the deck and the harbour.
Netflix and a library of DVD's in the tv room. Also games and puzzles if you care to take a day off from exploring.
Mere steps to the waters edge. A rock shoreline with steps leading into the water is perfect for snorkeling and hunting for sand dollars. (Snorkel gear included.) Also 3 kayaks and 1 paddle baord.
Xanadu is 10 minutes from the airport.
Walking distance to a grocery store and liquor store.
3 minute drive to the closest beach, Jolly Hall Beach (One of the ones you can see from the house. And one of our faves.)
Numerous restaurants less than 5 minutes away.
We do suggest renting a car so you can explore Exuma and what it has to offer...
Rental boats available at Minns Water Sports.
Take an excursion to swim with the pigs, play with the iguanas and snorkel in Thunderball Grotto where they filmed a couple of Bond, James Bond movies. ;)

Absolutely amazing!
This home was more than perfect for our stay in Exuma! The views from the house and back deck were stunning. The fact that we could walk out of the house and jump in the water to snorkel made the trip even better! The house is stocked with everything one could need for their vacay. The beds were super comfortable. And they have a great library of DVD's to watch at night :) Lisa and Frank were so accommodating and helpful through the entire process. We will definitely be back again!

Fab Fun in the Warm Sun
Xanadu was a great place for 4 winter weary pals to relax and just enjoy everything that Great Exhuma has to offer. Next time I would probably pack food so that I could take advantage of the well equipped kitchen that Xanadu has to offer.

Lovely, comfortable well equipped home close to beaches and shopping . The front deck has the most spectacular view of Elizabeth Harbour and incredible sunrise . Hosts left wine and cold beer along with a fridge and pantry stocked with the basics . 10/10 !!

Great Family vacation
We had a wonderful stay! The house was even better and bigger than the pictures showed. We rented a boat and had a great time exploring all of the beaches and Stocking Island. Lisa was very helpful in getting us everything we needed prior to arrival. The house was very well equipped. We would recommend staying at Xanadu!

This cozy and cute home tucked away on a hill of Exuma has quite the view. Wake up or spend your day viewing the best of what Exuma has to offer at this home. Best hosts by far, you will not be disappointed staying at Xanadu house.

My birthday trip
Number 1… the house is absolutely beautiful! the island is amazing the food fantastic. We went to several different beaches, rented a boat for 2 days, the sting rays at chat n chill are super sweet and let you feed them. I will definitely be back again..

A beautiful stay!
A gorgeous home full of character! We loved that we could snorkel right off the property! Best snorkeling we found, actually! The starts were AMAZING! The walk down to the water, as well as entering the water (especially at low tide) may be a challenge for someone with mobility issues, but, we loved it!

A comfortable cottage with the most amazing deck looking out over more colors of blue than you could ever imagine. The gorgeous kitchen, super clean and well stocked. Comfortable bedrooms, lots of room and storage. Beautiful clean bathrooms. Great property!

Maryellen M. My family and I recently traveled to Exuma for the first time in May. First off it is one of the most breathtaking islands that we have ever had the privilege of visiting! Secondly, we couldn't have picked a more beautiful property to stay at then Xanadu House! The house has the most spectacular views from every angle!!! It is well appointed with everything you could possibly need for your island stay. A wonderful surprise for us was the treats that were left in the refrigerator upon our arrival! Lisa and Frank were a wealth of information about the island with great communication!! We will be visiting Xanadu House and Exuma again of that we are sure! This house is a beautiful hidden gem!

Gorgeous views, plenty of room for all of us, conveniently located to get to anything, and top notch communication. I never had to worry about anything bc I knew I’d be able to reach Lisa or Cleo. Xanadu was fantastic!!! We loved it so much and were sad to leave. Great family trip for our foursome…. ONLY complaint was when the wind died down the mosquitoes were an issue but the fabulous sunroom was perfect for that…. Can’t wait to return!!!

Beautifully appointed house, and the beautiful view will have you on Bahamian time in no time. Loved the attention to detail with this house. Very clean and welcoming. Great amenities, like snorkel gear and beach chairs. We truly felt at home here. It made our introduction to Exuma all the more special and smooth.

This trip was our favorite family vacation ever! The Xanadu house was centrally located and convenient to grocery and restaurants. It was perfect for our family of 4. The back porch view was breath taking and we looked forward to spending evenings there looking out to the water. Lisa and frank were excellent hosts and very helpful with tips of all kinds. The Exuma are a beauty like I’ve never seen and we hope to be back very soon!!

Our family of 5 had the best time at Xanadu and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We loved having our own space to enjoy the gorgeous views of the back deck and all the little things they had to make our vacation more enjoyable. I could sit for hours and just look at the view. Lisa and Frank were so helpful with the million questions I had since it was our first family vacation to Exuma. Very quick to respond and always helpful especially when we were almost stranded because of flooding rain. We can’t wait to go back !

Beautiful home with all the amenities described in the listing! Lisa was so easy to communicate with and was very helpful with pre trip tips to help navigate travel during Covid times. As the trip drew closer she was very helpful with island tips, things to do, restaurants and much more! Natural island vibe and we would love to come back here! Absolutely beautiful!!
