Document check in : 1:30pm (estimate) Collect access card : 6:30pm (estimate) Communication btw frontline and house keeping department is not good enough bcos I have requested online and informed check-in has mentioned to add bed. Disappointed I need to inter com the frontline and transferred me to house keeping department again for the request. Also hair dryer should be ready but need to request.

Hotel's location is nice & hotel staff is OK. But the rooms are not maintained well. The toilet in my room is clogged up, sink is also clogged up. The hotel bed sheets & towels are stained & looked dirty. The hotel safe is not working at all & there isn't even a luggage rack in the room! I asked for a luggage rack several times but to no avail. Also, room lights are too dim.

GREAT VIEWS
Amazing seaview and you're able to catch the sunrise! The hotel suite is big and clean, however, the sofa linen and curtains are old and stained and do need to be changed. Could do with better reception of tv programmes and wider selection of room service menu will be much appreciated. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Overall experience was a pleasant one with comfortable good nights of sleep.

Hotel seriously need a upgrade
Arrived at 1130am and was told that the room will be ready in 1 hour time.In the end the room was ready at 1pm. However they upgrade my room from studio to junior suite and provided me what I had requested which was Seaview and high floor. Flooring in the room was bad as you can hear sound when walking in the room. There are loud sound coming from the fridge as well. Bed was comfortable though. Water in bathtub will drain off itself after sometime. Worst of all is the toilet flushing system. You have to flush few times inorder to get ride of your waste. Windows seem had not been clean for quite sometime. Soundproof is very bad as you can hear people walking or closing their door especially at night when it is quiet. On my first day, both of us were woken up suddenly when we heard some strange sound and people knocking the door. There aint any food near the hotel except opposite where there is a food court and the food are not cheap. Nearest 7-11 is 10 to 15 mins walk from hotel and you have to walk through a dark backlane which seems to be quite dangerous. Around 7-11 there are few stalls selling food too. I will only go back to this hotel unless they upgrade the whole place.

A good bargain we got during Chinese New Year Period. Convenient location and easy access to Gurney Drive. Spacious room and nice sea view. Will be our choice again if we travelling to Penang.
