Disastrous First-Time Expedia Experience - Booking Cancelled Last Minute.
I recently booked this property for 6 guests through Expedia just 3-4 days in advance. Upon arrival, the property owner abruptly cancelled my reservation, stating they did not have a unit that could accommodate our group.
The owner was incredibly rude and unhelpful, offering no alternative solutions or apologies for the inconvenience. They simply instructed us to find other accommodations ourselves and promised a full refund, but no refund has been processed yet.
Despite escalating the issue to Expedia and awaiting a response from their higher management, the situation remains unresolved. This experience has left me extremely disappointed and frustrated.
I hope Expedia able to compensate for the negligence of their property partners that have caused significant disruption to my travel plan.
