"I booked this house in utter faith that they had 2 separate rooms as we were coming out with friends. I paid up front and upon scrolling quite far down on the reviews before leaving for the holiday ( flights paid etc) I came across someone who had remarked that the rooms were “interconnecting” I immediately contacted the host of this property who said that “ if this was a problem we can offer you an upgrade” I didn’t want an upgrade. "Oh where to begin? The host provided check in direction 1.5 hours prior to our arrival. We were travelling and did not have access to internet, so did not receive her email. We then called when we arrived and the host did not answer. We found the neighbour's and they kindly called from their local number - then the host answered the call and advised where the key was located. - house is not well marked so we originally went to the house next door and bothered an elderly neighbor who was not...

"A beautiful home obviously well loved and cared for by its owner Juliette and her lovely housekeeper. We were welcomed with a bottle of Rose (nice touch) and immediately fell in love with both the house and the quaint town of Sanary-sur-Mer. Juliette provided a wealth of information and suggestions for our stay. My only disappointment is the time flew by so quickly in this beautiful location and home. I hope to return one day. "Carole was fabulous. Very responsive and welcoming to her home. Outdoor shower and pool area were a highlight, and easy walk to town for food and drinks. House was well equipped. Be prepared that this is a home vs rental property, so lots of personal items. No hanging space in some rooms and bedrooms are on the small side."
