"The hotel is in a quiet rural area out of town. It would be beneficial if you have a car, but there is a good bus service and the bus stop is across the road from the hotel. When we were there the hotel was being renovated but we never found this a problem and everyone was very helpful, lovely staff."

"I chose here due to it being the perfect location and being the right price. I’m so pleased I did because the place and the team exceeded my expectations by a long way. Service, food, drinks all of the highest quality. Evening meal served in a really nice room, same as breakfast. The room I had was 205 and it was clean, comfy, spacious. I’m already thinking of reasons to return. Thank you "

"Hotel is in a beautiful area and location. It has a lovely pool which unfortunately we didn’t have time to use as we were spending time with family living locally. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite. It was very spacious and really nice but needs a little TLC in the bathroom with a jacuzzi and the curtain hooks need attention. "This is a lovely hotel, with charm and character. Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were cozy, clean and warm, which was great as it was freezing outside! The bathroom also clean and in good condition - the shower was great! The location was also better than we thought - we were able to get to other lakes and towns, a shopping outlet and even the coast within 30-60min drive. "Lovely welcome at Reception and staff very helpful during stay. Bar and restaurant atmosphere warm, nicely decorated, and food and drinks service very good. "The hotel was great value for the price that we paid. The room was small, but spotlessly clean. The staff were great, really friendly and welcoming. We had the vegetarian breakfast in the morning which we thoroughly enjoyed, so much so that we returned mid afternoon to the hotel for coffee and cake which was delicious. "

"A fabulous place to stay. Creetown is beautiful and the accommodation is friendly, safe, and spotlessly clean, as well as being very comfortable. It is also fantastic value. With a very comfy bed, great shower, free tea and coffee and a TV in the bedroom, this was a superb place in which to stay and unwind after a long day's travel. The manager is a lovely gentleman and was very helpful. I will look forward to staying here again soon "

"A lovely large, clean, comfortable, well equipped property in a quiet location in southern Scotland. Host Nigel was very responsive and pointed us to some great walks close by. The large hot tub was private, relaxing, and well used during our visit. Highly recommended property and would book here again."
