"The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony with beautiful views of the bay and, in the distance, the Aeolian Islands. Mama Lina and everyone else was very hospitable and friendly - we certainly felt at home. It is 5-10 minute drive from the town of Patti - we preferred that it was quieter than being in a town centre. It is helpful to know some Italian but if not you can always use Google translate! "Our stay at La Dolce Vita has been amazing. Giovanni & Katia were helpful in every way imaginable (tips for local tours/food, pick up/drop off, etc.), always cheerful and welcoming, preparing delicious food for breakfast & dinner. The hotel itself is a quiet piece of paradise in the middle of vineyards and nature, with each of the few rooms having its own character. Ideal for people who want to relax & completely let go for a few days, with easy access to a nice beach nearby."

"We rented this property so we can meet with friends and family from different locations in US and Europe! The terrace overlooking the sea was roomy and great for gathering with our friends and family who stayed at other nearby locations! The sun was hot in the afternoon but the shade of the terrace at that time of day allowed us to be able to spend time outside overlooking the water. The house is steps away from the beach! The village is not touristy which we loved as we had a genuine Italian...
