You need a car as there is nothing within walking distance and the bigger towns are at least 45 min drive but easy to access as are the lovely beaches with their fish restaurants. We had a very relaxing week and Carmelo was kind enough to recommend and book a local restaurant for us, and the food was delicious! We can highly recommend this villa and Sicily in general.
