"The house is in an excellent location, quiet and yet close to attractions of the black forest. The landlady was very nice. The kitchen is very well equiped, with all you need for cooking and eating your meals at home. There's also a washing machine, that's very helpful if you're traveling for a long time. There's a very nice garden with a courtyard. The only problem was the basement floor. There's a big bedroom there with a shower, but we could'nt be there. It's very cold there and the smell was...

"We spent Christmas here with our dog and found the property suited us in every way - a large secure garden for the dog (with access from both the living room and bedroom), lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen all in a peaceful location. We were able to visit Strasbourg and Colmar very easily from here and also enjoy the Rhine and discover the lovely town of Gengenbach. Delightful hosts next door."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"My family and I ( four adults and three children) spent a week recently in this house in Alpirsbach. The house was clean, functional, comfortable, quiet and in a residential neighborhood. The location is within walking distance to the old and new parts of the village of Alpirsbach inclusive of grocery stores, the Alpirsbacher brewery, Gasthaus', bakeries and sundry village shops.
