"Overall we do like this hotel as it’s half way from our home to our son in TX. However, it’s becoming run down and it’s not that old. The carpets are spotted, the bedding isn’t as white as it could be and the shower walls have broken tiles and the caulk is starting to mold. Time for some upgrades. "

" Our room had a sewer smell when we checked in. After two flushes, the toilet clogged. Plunger didn’t help and toilet overflowed and flooded the bathroom. The staff was terrific and quickly moved us to a different room. Food ran out in the free breakfast. We had to go back twice to be able to eat something. Only thing available was scrambled eggs and oranges. However, the extra effort that staff made during our stay was very much appreciated."

"The staff is amazing and accommodating. Check-in was quick and easy. I believe the clerk’s name was Caroline. I apologize if the name is incorrect, but she was very friendly, neat in appearance and was a joy to visit with. She made you feel welcome and at easy. The motel was clean and smelled fresh, not musky like some hotels. I will most likely return to this hotel when I come back to visit. "
