"Beautiful clean home in the country. Enjoyed the space and had a lovely time. The beds were a bit hard and could have used bigger and more pillows. Although there were lots of wine glasses, we could have used regular drinking glasses"

"We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

"A nossa estadia foi maravilhosa. A casa é fantástica, ideal para dois casais e duas crianças. As vistas da sala mergulham-nos no alentejo e transmitem-nos uma paz reconfortante. A Sandra recebeu-nos com muita simpatia e os cães dos donos da propriedade fizeram as delícias de miúdos e graúdos! Recomendo vivamente!"

"The property has two small bedrooms, but a decent size kitchen and living area, with a great front garden with fruit trees and outside seating - great for mellow evening dinners. There is little commercial activity in the village the house is located, Atalaia, just one cafe. However, larger towns are within an hours drive, and there are some fun places to visit - our favorites were the caves, dinosaur footprints, and Belver castle. There are signs to a hiking trail called PR2 within the village,...
