Sits atop Chalet Village at Ski Mountain. Enjoy a romantic or small family getaway. Relax on the back deck or Hot tub for bear watching, the lights of Gatlinburg, and the visits of wildlife of the Smokies. Features mountain views and a private setting only 3.7 miles from Gatlinburg and easy access to Pigeon Forge. The clubhouse features pools, tennis, gym, & game room. You will be driving up steep, curvy and winding roads for 15 minutes, but it will be worth it!

PET FRIENDLY with $100 Fee per stay. Up to 2 dogs allowed (keep in mind there is only 1 pet friendly trail nearby, The Gatlinburg Trail).

We are a family-owned business striving to ensure your experience is an idyllic getaway.
The cabin is one floor only consisting of an open space plan. There are a few steps to get to the entrance of the Cabin. The kitchen will have the essentials for cooking, there is a 4 table dining area followed by the living space which has a wood-burning fireplace (wood not supplied) and TV and half bath around the corner. The Master bedroom has a jacuzzi tub separate from the master bath which has a shower. The enclosed deck offers and brand new hot tub, dining area, rocking chairs, and a grill to enjoy the beautiful views.

We always recommend 4x4 drive during the Winter months in The Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way up and without any inclement weather any car should be fine but again, we recommend 4x4 wheel drive when visiting the area primarily in January and February.

We ask that you do not leave food outside and please DO NOT feed the bears.

The Chalet way located with a beautiful outlook over Gatlinburg. It was very clean and comfortable indoors. The drive to the Chalet is not for the timid or faint of heart and a 4 wheel drive is best for the steep inclines.

A fantastic stay. The owner, Tatiana, was immediately responsive to two questions we had during the stay. The cabin was immaculate, had everything we could have needed, and the rocking chairs on the neck gave us beautiful views of the valley while we drank our post-hike beverages. At night, the hot tub erased our aches and pains, and then back inside to read by the fireplace. We were there to hike, and had easy access to the park and it’s amazing trails.

I was there with my family and enjoyed every minute of it . The cabin is so cozy and we didn’t need anything . Tatiana thank you for accommodating us with everything. I have to admit that the drive up there was scary but after going up and down a few times it became easier . Overall we loved our stay at Heavens Gate 1 !

Everything was perfect! We saw bears near our cabin every day we were there, the hot tub was the most amazing way to relax after hiking or exploring the near by towns. The guest book was a great idea. Loved reading what people recommend and even trying a few restaurants people suggested.

Stayed for the weekend. The drive to the top was a bit rough the first time but after that was OK. It was everything that was advertised. FYI. Ordered a pizza from the Chalet Village Market. Came in less than an hour and was pretty good. Definitely would book again

Nice cabin with beautiful view!
This was a nice clean cabin to stay in, the view is beautiful but the road is extremely steep and curvy, it made me nervous especially in foggy rainy weather. The driveway was a bit tricky too. The hot tub and jacuzzi tub were clean and worked great, comfortable bed and living area. I have no complaints about the cabin or our stay other than the road and driveway-it was manageable with our 4 wheel drive truck, I know you have to drive up to get great views but it did make me nervous every trip up.
