Be Sure To Bring Things Like .........
We really did enjoy our stay but there were a few things we needed that were not there so bring ice (as we could not get the ice maker to work), baking sheets (there are none). Beds are super comfy so everyone was pleased about that and hot tub worked great!

Great, Clean location.
The cabin was clean & close to The Gatlinburg strip. We had a few bear visitors during our stay. They were in the driveway parking area & came out while grilling burgers one evening. We got some good photos. Lol 💕

Weekend fun with family
The pictures of this home are "spot on". This is very cozy but large enough for everyone. You will love your stay here and may even see the neighborhood bear. We were close enough to everything, but felt like we were in the mountains. P.S. My son even said he wanted to build a house just like it when he's older.

Too small
Beautiful property but definitely not enough living space for the 8 of us. It would definitely be a more comfortable fit for four people. The kitchen is extremely small and half of our party had to sit at the dining room table in order to watch TV in the living room. Very clean and well kept.

Not what we were hoping for
We got this cabin to spend thanksgiving in since Gburg is our family’s halfway point (we live all over the South and the East). We were looking forward to sitting together by a fire and relaxing in the hot tub. When we arrived, the fireplace worked, but the fumes collected in the top floor making it unbearable to be upstairs. Seriously, my eyes burned and I could barely breathe. We had to open all the windows and doors for 30 min to get more air in. The kitchen also was not what we expected, there were many basic kitchen necessities that weren’t there (like a baking sheet), but we made do without it. The ice machine didn’t work, and we couldn’t figure out how to work the exhaust fan above the stove. Additionally, the hot tub was broken (apparently needed a new part) which was one of the reasons we booked this house. Vacasa was quick to respond, but the maintenance people who came weren’t very helpful. We still had a good time, but we will not be coming back.

Worst rental and worst customer service!
By farthest the worst rental property. Checked in to a property which was dirty, couldn’t even use the hot tub which we paid hot tub fee for. Paid over $2,000+ for waste of money! The property was not cleaned at all, no utensils or pots, etc. we had to call and million hours later someone answered and was told someone will come by. No date, no time, etc! However someone came by later in the evening and dropped off the pots and pans but no cleaning at all. We were charged the cleaning fee and the house was not even clean.. requested fees to be returned but no response! The worst rental property where you can’t even speak to the owners, vrbo customer service, etc! The worst! I do not recommend vrbo and this rental property at all

Horrible experience
I would not recommend Vacasa homes. I am sadden by the costumer service from Tyisha who is a supervisor. My birthday weekend was ruined!!! The power was out at the home for 24 hours, which in result made us lose a day/night of vacationing. We drove 9 hours and was not informed that the power was out until AFTER checkin. We slept in our coats and very few covers that were laying around! It was freezing. We spent money on candles, One person slept in a running car all night because of a medical condition. We paid $350 in groceries that majority had to be thrown out. There was a dead mouse under the coach, the jacuzzi never got hot, and we had no Wi-Fi the entire weekend making it extremely hard to stay connected to family. After speaking with numerous of people from Vicsa homes nobody could help make the night easier but informed us of everything they were NOT going to do. Never offering other accommodations for example moving us to another home, getting us a hotel room, etc. I spoke with Kelly on Saturday who tried to help which she informed me of getting a refund of $200 of the $2,000 plus back. Kelly then told me she was going to speak with “Headquarters” to try to get more. Kelly was not in the office and Tyisha whom had horrible customer service did nothing. She informed me the board came up with that amount and they wasn’t going to offer anymore. When I asked who is the board or who is her supervisor, she said she was not giving me that information.

Grand Indeed!
We stayed in the this amazing cabin. Surprised by how quiet and peaceful the surroundings were even when we are close to downtown Gatlinburg. The gorgeous wooded valley view is so calming. A charming creek is below this cabin and you can hear the water flowing as you sip your coffee or hot chocolate on the beautiful double porches on the front. On the back is another porch with private hot tub and large wooden table. We were delighted by the presence of a mother bear and two cubs not once but three times ! The cabin is gorgeous. For us the beds were like sleeping on clouds! All amenities were available. This place has been saved to my favorites as my family visit the area at least twice yearly. We will be back.

Not so Grand Fir
I have rented more than 10 different properties in Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge, this was probably the least enjoyable. The location was ok. Parking was adequate. The chalet was extremely small for a five bedroom. I have stayed in 2-3 bedrooms that were much larger. The rooms were very cramped and had no closets. It wasn’t a good value for the price. Walking distance to Gatlinburg is probably a stretch. It can be done, but it is not that close to downtown. Pictures are a little deceiving. Not all bad, just not what I was expecting for the price.

Almost perfect. PLEASE READ!
There is more positive things I have to say about this cabin the negative but there are a few things that I would like to point out which seem important. My number 1 safety concern is for the railing on the second floor that overlooks to the living room. It's not really sturdy, it is a bit wobbly. Of course someone would have to put alot of force on it but still I consider unsafe , especially for younger kids. Secondly, the door knobs to the downstairs bathrooms are tricky to open once they are locked. I thought I had locked myself the 1st time I went into the downstairs bedroom bathroom. Next would be the door to the upstairs hallway bathroom that is connected to the bedroom. It does not shut properly, seems to be somewhat detached from the top, therefore it won't slide all the way to lock. Lastly, there are twon things that didn't really bother us but I need to point out. There was a foul odor coming from the kitchen area, around the sink, cabinet, dishwasher area. Kind of hard to tell exactly where it came from and lastly we slept in the downstairs, right bedroom and you can hear the jacuzzi sound. Even my husband who is of hard hearing heard it. I got used to it and wasn't a big issue but do not sleep in that bedroom if you want to sleep peacefully ,if you want a view or if you want to wakeup to a screatchy door lol. Other than that this was a really NICE & CLEAN cabin! One of the things my kids LOVED & me of course loved was the arcade games. It had Pacman & Mortal Combat with a couple others . Definitely, brought me back to my childhood memories. There is also some game boards in there like Twister & the Operation. Would we stay here again? Of course! Oh and lastly, this is not the cabin's fault but always take Cherokee Orchard Rd to the cabin . Never the backway as it can give you anxiety with steep, tight roads. Scary at night!

Cabin not as described
Grand Fir descriptions were misleading, walk to town took about 30 minutes. Bedrooms really small and no closets which was odd, had to hang close in bathroom. Wasn’t very clean and spider webs in corners. Very disappointing:(

Spacious, central location, lovely
Family and I rented this as a relaxing getaway. Listing was a perfect description and the decor was beautiful. Porches came in very handily for our rainy days, nap time, after-trail-walking breathers, as well as bear spotting! Property managers were easily accessible when contacted about a down tree on the property. Keeping this listing in our memory for future bookings!

Loved it!
This is a beautiful property. All of the rooms have a unique advantage to them. The place is secluded and quiet. The sitting areas downstairs and upstairs were beneficial for my family to split up amongst the older ones and the younger ones. We had a critter visit, but it’s evident that the priority is trying to get a handle on these things to the best of their ability. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
