NO PETS: allowed in this cabin no exceptions to the rule. 1,000.00 dollar fee if caught in the cabin. Please watch roll AWAY SUITCASES. THERE IS ONE CAMERA OUT FRONT POINTED AT THE DRIVEWAY FOR YOUR SAFETY DURING STAY. This cabin rents to 2 people. NO EXTRA GUESTS ALLOWED. Parties are not allowed no exceptions. On entering the cabin you will find a nicely equipped kitchen. Granite counter tops, and new stainless steel appliances. Seating in the kitchen for four people comfortably.
The living area is furnished with a leather couch, stone fireplace, and nice flat screen Roku TV. Hardwood floors throughout the cabin. Two huge windows that let you see what you came to the mountains for, the view of the mountains. Sunsets are amazing and you can sit and stare at the view for hours at a time.
The cabin features two bedrooms with private full baths on each floor and a half bath on the first floor.
The master bedroom is on the second floor and has a private sitting area. The bath has a bathtub with shower. What is provided at time of arrival is what you get. Anything else you will need to pickup. A king bed with memory foam mattress and a flat screen TV for your pleasure.
Off the basement level is a nice sitting porch with a hot tub for those evenings after a long day shopping.
The porch offers wonderful views of the mountains while you relax.
The first level has a great front porch with rocking chairs and a nice table to enjoy meals while you watch the mountains.
Parking at the property is ample and flat for easy access to the cabin.
Bears do come by on occasion to visit or get a drink from the pond at the entrance. If you do see them please do not run up to them, or try to feed them. Just watch from a distance. They are beautiful animals but can be dangerous if provoked.

Restored 1860's log cabin from Bull's Gap, Tennessee. This cabin was dismantled and moved to the Barnwood Builder's boneyard, then restored. It was then shipped to Gatlinburg and built on perfect location. This is a three story antique cabin that has been restored with all the modern amenities
Parking at the property is ample and flat for easy access to the cabin.

Worth every penny
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a great time! The property was beautiful and there isn’t a thing we would change about our experience. The property manager is so sweet, very easy to talk to, and even checked in on us once to make sure everything was going well during our stay. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would be interested in renting in the future.

Everything we could have asked for.
This was a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday and I always get nervous on booking places because she is a clean freak. Not only was she blowed away about how nice this place was , she bragged to me how clean it was. It checked all the boxes for what we needed and didn’t have us wishing for anything more. It is convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg . Can’t wait to book another trip back this winter!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Melton's View October 10-14. We particularly enjoyed the secluded location, which was still very conveniently located to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The lovely cabin, which has a wonderful history, has a very rustic appearance, but is thoroughly modern! Janice, our host, was very cordial, and we enjoyed talking with her. We would definitely consider staying there again!

A beautiful cabin with amazing views of the mountains. Every amenity you might want is available, a very comfortable space beautifully furnished. Lovely deck to lounge on in the morning. Easy access to the park and several very nice restaurants. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Cabin
This was the most relaxing vacation ever! This cabin is truly secluded and peaceful with many activities only minutes away if you choose that route. We enjoyed the pure quiet and only hearing crickets during the night time! We saw a momma bear and 3 cubs from the deck on our second afternoon sitting outside. Janice is a fantastic host! Cabin is clean with all modern day amenities provided. This was our second time booking and we will be back for a 3rd time soon!

Clean as a pin. Beautiful cabin. Pool table. Perfect distance between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Owner is very sweet and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again. Skilled motorcycle rider could handle some of the road going up there. It’s paved all the way, but I don’t think I would chance it. I drove my truck.

Of the 24yrs of visiting Gatlinburg yearly ; this was by far the cleanest and most cared for cabin we have ever stayed in. Communication with the owner was prompt and she was just a call or text away if needed. The cabin has everything you need and then some. I really enjoyed the privacy of No one driving in front of your cabin like most places anymore. The history of the cabin is pretty fascinating (1800’s) The mattresses are new; not sunken in and worn out which is huge. Will stay again 😊

17th Anniversary Trip
The property and cabin were beautiful! Cabin had everything we needed. Communication with host was great as well! Close to town but just far enough away to have that relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! We accidentally booked the same weekend as hot rod weekend. The towns were packed so we opted to drive the mountain roads. Just as much to do away from town as in town.

Absolutely stunning views from any window and porch. The house was so perfect inside and out and the best location! Not too far but not too close, and not a lot of other houses or people around, like some of the resorts. We love the history behind the house too. Janice is phenomenal to work with. Right from the start this place lived up to it’s expectations. From the history of the cabin to every little detailed item throughout. We saw more wildlife there than our entire trip. Truely a beautiful place.
