Owner managed property. Located on top of the Mountain less then 8 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, National Park and Ober Ski Resort.

An adventurous drive but all worth it for the VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS. Three decks to see the spectacular Smoky Mountains. Two private bedrooms downstairs each with own private bath. NEW CASPER mattresses. Spa room with two state of the art massage chairs. HOT hot tub with a view. Open living room and kitchen upstairs with pull out memory foam sleeper sofa and gas fireplace. Pet friendly with approval and fee.

Located in popular Chalet Village with access to community pools and tennis courts.

RULES: Must be at least 25 to book. Additional guest fee over 6 guests No 3rd party bookings. Disclosed pet fee with approval, $500 undisclosed pet fee, $50/hr late check out fee. No one night reservations less then one month in advance, 5 minimum stay during holidays. Cancellation Policy Guest receives 100% (less $100.00 cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival; No refunds within 60 days of arrival. $500 refundable security deposit required.

We are not responsible for things outside of our control including but not limited to the weather, wildlife activity, disruptions in power or internet, public roads, noise from surrounding properties, acts of nature or local laws.

Relaxing and quiet
Really enjoyed the quietness of the location even though we were less than 10 min from Gatlinburg. We used the massage chairs every day from walking so much. Kate was awesome and checked up on us throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

What a view
We really enjoyed our stay with our kids AND fur kids! The sunrises were amazing. The hot tub and massage chairs were a bonus after skiing and snowboarding.

Just A Vista
More than Just A Vista. The place is perfect for a stay for a couple, young family or 2 couples. The view of downtown is spectacular! Convenient to the GSMNP or any other local attraction and restaurants.

Weekend Getaway
Husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to reconnect with each other. Just A Vista was absolutely the perfect place to do so. The house was amazing and perfect. It was just as described and the views were amazing! Kate was a pleasure to work with and very quick to respond if we had a question. Check in and out was effortless. We loved the massage chairs. Very clean and well equipped home with a great view. Close to Gatlinburg (2.2 miles) and the park. The road up the hill is not hard to navigate after the first trip up. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home is nestled into a mountainside and has two decks that overlook the woods, facing mountain ranges that offer beautiful sunrises. The home is comfortable and clean and perfectly set up for a family to enjoy a getaway. The hostess, Kate, has many wonderful touches and is quick to respond to concerns or questions. Fantastic experience all around!

Serene getaway with a lovely view
First of all, Kate was a wonderful host and made everything so easy! The property is in a quiet, peaceful location. The view from the various decks is very nice, a great place for a cup of coffee or a meal. The beds were extremely comfortable, probably the best beds we have slept in beside our own. We loved the walk-in showers. It is a short drive to town and best of all you will see mothers bears and cubs in the area. I would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing View
Beautifully decorated and kitchen well-stocked. Wake up to fantastic sunrise over the mountains . Hiked a trail nearby and relaxed in the massage chairs. Fire pit is nice but not quite warm enough during the cold weather. Driving up and down the mountain was scary but well worth the drive. Highly recommend this place!

Awesome Experience
We loved spending Christmas at this property with our family!! Everything was perfect and the Christmas tree that was already set up was the topping on the cake. We really enjoyed the massage chairs, open entertaining area, hot tub, and gas fire place! Subzero temperatures were coming in and Jerry even called to make sure we were prepared. Thanks for a great experience!

Cozy home in Chalet Village!
Our two night stay at this lovely home was comfortable, clean, and our family immediately settled in. We are a family of 6 (one dog included) that had already been vacationing in the area and decided last minute to extend our stay. This location was close to all Gatlinburg has to offer. The views are amazing and the drive up and down the mountain was so much fun! We enjoyed the privacy it had to offer, the cozy beds, working internet, tv and board games, massage chairs, and hot tub. Overall, it was a great stay and our host Kate was exceptionally communicative, professional, and ensured we had the best stay possible. Definitely recommend this home and host for future stays!

Wonderful stay here!
Great location to the strip and National Park! We saw about 5 bears during our stay. The hot tub and massage chairs were a plus after all our hiking, biking and rafting. Great view and everything worked great while we were there. The grill is really nice and clean. The power went out once and Kate was quick to respond to the email and phone call I made. Power came back on within 30 min. Quiet area and really can't see but a smidgen of the neighbors porch from the back decks. Definitely recommend!

Great place!
My family stayed here for a week for our summer vacation. The house was great! The roads up the mountain were a bit scary, but we got used to them pretty quickly. It was well stocked and we felt like home from the moment we arrived! The beds were so comfortable and I think I slept better there than at home! The hot tub was nice to have after long days out. The views were breathtaking and we were able to see a great sunrise! There are a lot of bears up there in the summer, but they seemed to keep to themselves. Kate, the host, was a pleasure to work with. We didn't need much, but she was very quick to respond if we needed anything. We were so sad to leave, but will definitely stay here again when we return! This was probably one of the best rental experiences we've ever had!

Perfect Escape with a View!!!
Just a Vista was fantastic! The view from the back porch of the house was spectacular!!! And the house was great too! Plenty of room for 4 people, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a hot tub. There are 2 massage chairs that were perfect at the end of each day! This location was so close to downtown Gatlinburg and entrance to the Smokey Mountains National Park. Roads are a bit mountainous so getting there in the daylight is smart. My favorite part besides the view was the bears. Saw one each day right around the house! We even had one check out our mini-van (my fault for not looking the door). Overall this place was worth every penny! Thanks Kate!
