Good location, nice kitchen!
Overall, the property was a good value for the price. The location was nice, check in was easy, the kitchen was clean and well equipped, and having a hot tub, pool table, and games were nice for our family. Having the Christmas tree already up and decorated was a special touch! The only issues we had were that the hot tub never got really hot, the chemical smell in the house was overwhelming (but once we took the three plug-ins out it really helped a lot), the person we were told to contact with any questions never answered my text, and we were quite disappointed that we never saw a bear since that was mentioned in many of the reviews (although I realize that is just luck of the draw, so I'm not holding that against anybody)! I just wanted to mention that you may not see a bear if that's one of your goals. Overall, I would recommend the chalet to others! chalet c to others! ttreviews!.

Cozy and peaceful home with a beautiful view
The home is very cozy and has all the amenities. The back deck is the place to hang out and enjoy the scenery; perfect for morning coffee and a good book. The home is close to many attractions. The drive up the mountain could be a little difficult if not prepared. Gwen was amazing and responded quickly with any concerns. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

One of the best stays ever
Me and my husband traveled with our kids and the two grandkids to come to the Rod Run. If I could give the host more than I five star I would. She personally called me and let me know everything we needed to know about the rental. We ever talked after check- out. The house was in good condition and very clean. One of the only things I could complain about is in two of the bedrooms the bed was a little hard for what we are use to, but that is really not a complaint it is more of a personal preference. The views in this go-use is amazing. You could sit out in the hot tub and see the beautiful lights of Gatlinburg. I really loved that the hot tub was inside

Wonderful Stay
Our family very much enjoyed staying at this chalets. The check in and check out were seamless and Gwen was so attentive to us by calling and making sure we knew she was available for us if needed. There were 6 adults and 2 children and plenty of room. The home was very clean and just how it appeared on the listing. It is very close and easy to get to downtown. The views from the porch were amazing no matter what time of day. We will definitely be booking this chalets again for our next family trip to Gatlinburg!

Beautiful home, great views of Mt. LECONTE. The property manager was a wonderful handling a minor fire alarm issue. Pong and pool table entertained the young adults along with the super hot tub. Great place to stay

Everything we needed
I was looking for a rental with a great location, a good amount of space for my family of five, and some activities for the kids and thats exactly what I got. It is not the fanciest or newest, but the space, proximity to gatlinburg and awesome view was totally worth it. We all loved the the hot tub room and my kids were thrilled with the air hockey table. We had a great stay

Great house in the Smokey mountains
Love the location of the house on top a mountain, at the same time very close to downtown Gatlinburg. The house had plenty of fun things for adults and kids. We will definitely try and come here again

Amazing location, clean stay
The location for getting to Gatlinburg and hiking is fantastic if you still want something of a view, which they have. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Property manager was very helpful. It is a bit older so if you’re looking for something new and updated this may not be it. But it kept our family with 4 young adults and one child very busy with all the games. Our family had a nice time here.

FYI...The cabin and amenities were rated a 9.75 out of 10. The only issue was the towels smelled like cigarette smoke. I know there is a no smoking policy but unfortunately not all renters honor it. Thanks for everything...we will be back !!!

Cabin on the mountain.
We had a great experience, it was my wife and daughters first time going to Tennessee. The cabin was great, the views were perfect, and everything we wanted to go to was just right down the street. We will definitely be back for our next vacation!!!

Everything was great! The property manager called before we arrived and let us know ahead of time that the heating element in the hot tub went out and they would be by to fix it that evening. Quickly fixed that issue and answered all my questions I had. This property is great for a family vacation has an amazing view as well! We had 8 total with my wife and our 6 children. Would definitely stay here again!

Not handicap accessible/ poor communication
Although our trip was relaxing, we had multiple issues starting from arrival. Our code to access the chalet wasn't what we were told it would be and we had trouble contacting the owner. This was resolved with a later checkout time which while appreciated only started our bad experience. My MIL is on a walker and the chalet is listed as handicap accessible. There were absolutely no walk in showers and it was difficult for her to get around the house with a walker. She was confined to a couple of rooms and wasn't able to shower for our entire stay. We also had issues with the heat not warming. When we contacted the owner, we never heard anything back from her. We froze for 3 nights even sleeping in sweatshirts and bundled up. We had to keep the oven turned on and bathroom heaters going just to keep it tolerable. The upstairs room dropped into the 50s at night. We will definitely not be renting from this owner again.

We enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of room for our family of 8. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the Christmas tree. Gwen was very responsive to any questions or concerns. The light upstairs was out she had maintenance there in no time to fix the problem. I would definetly recommend this house.

This is a GREAT house with wonderful accommodations!
The house is very cozy! The fireplace really is a focal point for the living room! They even had the Christmas tree in there, which was GREAT!! We really enjoyed our stay and will try to stay here again!!

Great house with gorgeous views!
We had a wonderful stay! Our hostess Gwen was a 10/10. She was so kind and super responsive. We had an issue with the hot tub not heating, but she made sure this got fixed. The views from the house were beautiful. We were lucky to get a dusting of snow the morning we left which was a great bonus. Our favorite parts of this house were the open living/kitchen space, the large deck with plenty of seating and great views, the hot tub, and the bonus game room. Our first night we got a welcome present with a black bear sighting! We got to watch him from the deck as he explored the neighbor’s porch. We enjoyed exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge during the day and relaxing at the house in the evening. Our weather was less than cooperative so we were all so happy to enjoy the house. This was the perfect house for our family weekend and we would absolutely stay again!

Fall Break Family Trip
The property was perfect, very roomy and comfortable. The game room provided us with plenty to do at the cabin. The location was awesome as we had several bear sightings coming and going. Actually had a bear on the back deck one night while my grandson and my daughter were enjoying the indoor hot tub. He was just a curious observer for a moment then he was on his way. Be sure to keep vehicles locked as they are very capable of opening car doors. This is a great place for the family. Highly recommend!!
