Walking distance to everything
If you’re looking for a cabin within minutes walk to everything, this is the one. Personally we didn’t want to be hidden away in the mountains, I was shocked just how close this cute cabin was to the main strip. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. There was a view to the river that was nice and unexpected as well. My family loved it here, the pool table was fun too. Definitely would rebook next time we’re in Gatlinburg. It was also a plus our cabin was ready for early check in, with no additional cost (we got lucky).

Middle of downtown cabin!
What a great location close to everything! This cabin sits secluded on a hill at the end of a parking lot in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg. Roomy and clean with a great eat in kitchen, pool table, living room and bedroom / bathroom on the first floor. A second, two queen bed with bathroom on the second floor. It has a cute front porch and front patio area. We even had a neighborhood bear pass through during our trip! The parking in Gatlinburg is tough so being right off the parkway is great for walking to restaurants and stores. Unfortunately the cabin sits atop a very steep hill. There is an elevator at the Quality inn that shares the parking lot of the cabin that helped tremendously to get us and our children (one in a stroller) down to street level. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Location
Property is in heart of downtown, well stacked kitchen, clean and spacious. In the living room a smart tv could have been an add as couldn’t stream movies on the tv. Pool table top had stains over period of use. Internet speed was quite good

The location of this property cannot be beat if you are spending time walking around Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean, well furnished and comfortable. It says sleeps 6 but I would suggest only four unless you have young children as it is a bit small. Some suggestions for the cabin: 1. a hook somewhere in the bathroom. nowhere to put a robe for after your shower. 2. instructions on how to make the shower work. (took 4 our us to figure it out) Nothing that would make me not want to stay there again.

Too many bugs
To many bugs and ants. Read this in previous reviews but took a chance as responses were that management would address. Also cobwebs in windows behind the curtains. Front light by door not working. No instructions how to use the three remotes for tv in living room Called the 1-800 number but got cut off Location is nice but hill very touchy to walk multiple times a day

STEEP HILL!!!!!
Cabin was clean just a lot of maintenance issues needed to be done. The hill to get to cabin walking down to the strip is VERY VERY STEEP!! Definitely would not stay at this cabin again bc of hill. Otherwise once you got down hill you were close to the strip, just way to hard on me with bad feet anyway. A lot of maintenance issues I mean a lot needed to be done to this cabin. Kitchen is built funny, we had 3 people and was odd with chairs. We enjoyed pool table at night, which is stacked with towels under leg. But to many issues for us was wrong at cabin and the hill. Would not stay at this one again.

Needs deep clean
Per the title, needs deep clean. Dead bugs, dog hair, and just generally not clean enough. Not somewhere I was comfortable walking around barefoot. The worst was the comforter and blankets not washed and fresh blood on the sheets so I don't think they were changed. I only stayed 2 nights I would not have been able to stay longer because its hard to sleep in a dirty bed. The living room set the couches were disgusting as well I wouldn't let my family sit on them- stained and smelly. The pool table was nice. Bedroom furniture was quality and unique looking. The washer and dryer worked and were quiet. There is ice dispenser in the fridge which i was thankful for. Loved the wood floors in the living area. The hill was pretty big, but we are in generally good shape so it was a good workout after dinner. This has nothing to do with the cabin but downtown Gatlinburg is a tourist trap so we didn't enjoy the location. But for someone who is into that, it is nearby those kind of things. There is a walking trail with river nearby so that was a plus. Also thankful for a 30 minute early check in and prompt help on the phone to get the code to work from a nice women named Tina.

Great location, very nice cabin - added some helpful tips
This cabin is tucked away right off the main road through Gatlinburg. Felt like we were in our cabin by ourselves (could have been the time of year though, mid-Sept). The cabin is decorated nicely. Beds were comfortable. Sofa sags. Pool table is really nice to have. Bathrooms were very nice and enough towels. Used washer/dryer (bring your own detergent). Short walk to hot tub and pool. Saw a bear and racoon near pool area. You could easily walk to any store or business. Just a short walk away from the trailhead to Gatlinburg Trail to Sugarland Visitor Center - for people who want a flat easy two-mile one-way walk. Kitchen area is tight so hard to get more than one or two people working there at a time. Bring storage containers, storage bags, tin foil, cling wrap, wine bottle opener, coffee and filters (none provided). Only four dishwasher pods were provided for week so bring extras of that item and run dishwasher on heavy duty to get dishes clean. We blew a fuse on the stove when using the oven and one burner. The electrical panel is located on the outside of the cabin behind the kitchen. Vacasa was very responsive to our questions. Really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to anyone else. Would stay here again if in the area.

Cozy cabin, good location
Convenient location right in Gatlinburg. As others have mentioned, cabin is at the top of a very steep hill, so it is a challenging to walk into town, if mobility is an issue. Short drive to get into the national park. Close to the easy “Gatlinburg Trail” on the edge of town. Convenient to many restaurants & activities. If you plan to do much cooking, kitchen is not very well stocked. Basics are there. The cabin was clean on arrival. Suggestions: 1) there should be instructions included on how to use the TV’s. 2) No instructions on how to handle trash. No secured trash can available. I called Customer Service to ask where to take out trash. Answer was “When you check out, the housekeepers will take care of it.” I said we were staying there five nights & had a baby with us, and we were not planning on letting five days of trash pile up & not be able to dispose of it. They apologized but said they couldn’t offer any further help. We ended up using the trash dumpster for the condo building next door. Trash issue needs to be rectified!

Loud banging on door at 7:45; broken shades
When we arrived at the condo the shade in the bedroom was not there. We found it on the floor close by and tried to put it back up. It sat there very precariously and fell with the slightest touch. The bright light shining in that bedroom window at all hours made it necessary and very annoying when it constantly fell. Sunday during the day one of the residents or the condo nearby told us they were paving the parking lot at 6am the morning we were checking out. We figured they were mistaken as out check out wasn’t until 10am. Low and behold someone was banging hard and loud on the door at 7:45. They would not leave and woke up everyone in the condo including my young children. It was a terrible wake up call. The condo is situated at the top of a very tall steep mountain. Definitely not walkable to the strip. We had to drive and pay to park. Definitely not safe to walk with children or older people. Would never stay here again and would not recommend it anyone. Save your hard earned money for a better establishment.

Nice property
This cabin was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Our son enjoyed the pool table. My only negative remarks would be the lighting is bright and harsh in the main rooms. It would be nice to have a working hood vent light so you don’t have to use the really bright over head lights first thing in the morning. I’m an early riser. We ended up relocating one of the main room lamps over to the dining area by the pool table. If we book this again, I will pack nightlights. Also, the temps were cooling during our stay. It was 48 the last morning we were there but the fireplace was not working. Maybe the gas wasn’t on yet but we didn’t get to enjoy the fireplace on a chilly fall morning. We also had a nosey neighbor from the condos adjacent to the cabin walk up on the front porch and look into the windows. My husband waved at her from inside signaling her could see her. She left and went to our vehicle to look around. Not sure what to make of that but we didn’t see her again. One cool experience we had was a visit from the black bear. I almost went out to deck area outside the sliding glass door with morning coffee but as I started to open the door I saw a big black bear just on the other side of the porch rails. We watched him meander to the back of the cabin where we watched him from the kitchen window. That was definitely a highlight.

Mostly great. Some big cons.
First, the cons: Terrible Internet/wifi. You will not be streaming netflix or having a zoom call. Super-slow Internet. Very poorly stocked kitchen. Do not plan on cooking any family meals. No spatula? Come on! Pros: Great location. Very clean. Easy parking. Comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the showers. Washer/dryer. Spacious. Very well kept.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
There were spiders in the shower. The shade in the bedroom fell down constantly, which was very inconvenient because there was a bright light shining on the window. We were awoken at 7:45 AM by somebody banging loud and hard on the door saying we need to move our van so they could pave the parking lot. Very bad and disappointing experience. All these things aside I still would not stay here again. It is a very long, steep hill to get to the condo so we had to drive to the strip to pay more money to park.
