Fireflies & Moonshine Cabin has great reviews and we are always doing updates. The cabin has 2 gas fireplaces (open Oct-Apr depending on outdoor temps) and an electric fireplace above the soaker in the 1st floor suite! We are in a neighborhood style resort (not secluded) only 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, sleeps up to 6 total (no more than 5 adults) comfortably with easy parking for 2 cars and a short walk to the swimming pool (open May-Sept). The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware and dishes you need for your stay, and there’s a natural gas grill on the deck. Each bedroom suite has its own Smart TV, and there's plenty of space to relax. Enjoy Mt. LeConte views from the front porch, make family memories with evening shuffleboard competitions and board games, savor morning coffee, or melt into quiet moments in the unique sunroom.

The cabin is about 10 minutes to some great hiking spots at the Greenbrier section of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, less than a mile from Rocky Top Sports World, or a quick drive into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge for tons of family fun!

Fireflies & Moonshine Cabin is not a typical rental managed by a big company. We are small (only 4 properties), family owned & operated, and we're always as close as a call, text, or email. We're certain you'll enjoy your stay at Fireflies & Moonshine Cabin just as much as we do. Fireflies & Moonshine Cabin is in beautiful Mountain Shadows Resort within the city limits of Gatlinburg. There are cameras at the resort entrance, adjacent cabins, and on the front porch of the cabin showing the front porch and parking in front of the cabin. The surveillance devices may capture video and audio. No cameras inside the cabin or any that intrude on private space. Cabin has parking for 2 vehicles. No campers, RVs, or trailers are permitted in the resort. Security deposit, ID verification, and signed rental agreement are all required.

Wonderful!
We had another wonderful visit at the Fireflies & Moonshine Cabin! As always, we enjoyed the kitchen with many great tools for all of our cooking needs. The cabin was very clean and well taken care of. We love the location to Smoky Mountain National Park and enjoyed several days hiking.

Great home base
We really loved our stay. The cabin was spotless and had plenty of room for our family of 4. I especially liked the little enclosed porch space with comfortable reclining chairs. It was the perfect spot to step away from the main cabin area to enjoy the surrounding trees and relax while others watched TV, played arcade games, etc. after our hiking adventures in the Great Smoky Mountains.

The perfect cabin
Our family really enjoyed staying here! It was perfect for what we needed - extremely clean, 5 min to Rocky Top Sports Center, spacious, and beautiful. The downstairs bed was quite uncomfortable, but other than that we have no complaints.

Great vacation log hom!
Very nice, cozy, with updated bathrooms. We enjoyed the convenience of the location, being just a few miles from downtown Gatlinburg. Also just 5 minutes from Rocky Top Sports Park if you’re in town for youth sports. We also enjoyed the cozy hot tub on the back deck!

This was the most memorable vacation ever! The place was so comfy and cozy that we almost didn’t want to leave it to explore! Nestled in the best spot for privacy and views. Great Place to Stay
A log cabin with everything you need. Loved the cabin and location. Quiet and relaxing. loved the hot tub after hiking. Kitchen has absolutely everything you could ask for. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. Enjoyed the pool. Our goal was to spend time enjoying nature and relaxing and avoid commercial melt down. We spent two separate days hiking in GSMNP (hint get to your chosen trail early,) a day white water rafting and one morning in downtown Gatlinburg.

Cute cabin in Great location
The location is perfect if you are wanting to be close to downtown Gatlinburg but not in the traffic. It’s also so close to Rocky Top Sports Complex if you are coming for sports The parking spot is level which isn’t the case in the mtns often. Good ammenties. The bathrooms and bedrooms aren’t very big but not a big deal for a few days or with just a few people. The owners reached out several times to make sure we were ok. Would definitely book this again

Such a great stay!
We really enjoyed our time at fireflies and moonshine cabin during spring break this year! It felt very clean! The cabin had everything we could ever need! Our kids absolutely loved the addition of the sunroom on the back and having their own space upstairs! The owners were fast to reply if we needed something and you can tell they really value their cabin! One thing to note – the road to get up to the cabin is very steep and we weren't quite expecting that. Luckily, the cabin is on the flat part of the road! The cabin is perfectly located in Gatlinburg where you are a little out of the hustle & bustle but still very close driving distance! We especially loved Anakeesta, the aquarium, cataract falls hike, chimney picnic area, & El Paso’s Mexican in Sevierville! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Great Cabin for family
The cabin was great for our family vacation. Would recommend for a small family. Very cozy and clean. Everything there actually worked compared to others we have stayed at. Video games and the shuffle board game was fun with the boys. Outside deck was nice, and saw 5 bears at the end of the road about 40 yards away. Very quiet. Great location for attractions, eating and shopping. Pizza places are a little expensive. Solorzano's Pizzeria & Bistro Gatlinburg was really good and offer 20% for military. Left at first because no one was there, but ordered anyways. Glad we did. Log Cabin Pancake House was a great breakfast place. And then me and the wife went to Smokey Mountain Brewery in Pigeon Forge was a great place for a couple of drinks. And their Kaluha Chocolate Chip Cheesecake was awesome. We didnt get a chance to go, but was told by many that Cades Cove is a really great place for a scenic drive and historical things to see. And the management was quick to answer anything. Would highly recommend. The short road to go up is steep, but the 2 parking spots in front of the cabin are flat with no issues.
