"So glad we found this gem of a retreat! Perfect place to relax and recharge. We birded on the grounds and said hi to the horses, chickens and ducks. We brought a charcuterie and frozen dinners for our dinner. We met Nel the very sweet doggie. Maren was clear and easy to work with. Beds were comfortable, water was hot! Highly recommend!"

"Rented this property for my husband's 50th birthday. We are local, but invited guests from out of town to stay. This is a rare property that allows small events and it was perfect for entertaining. The house is spacious for everyone to hang out and enjoy. The property is gorgeous and would be especially nice in the warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors. Walking distance to Helvetia Tavern for good food/drinks and great service. We had an amazing stay. "

"This is a wonderful place about 15 miles from McMinnville. If you don't mind a bit of a drive, it is a warm, comfortable and quiet place to stay. The home was well stocked with anything you could need. The beds were comfortable and the home was so charming. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and rocking in the rockers on the porch. You won't be disappointed in this property."

"Great house, great location. We enjoyed the house and all the fun touches in the decor. Being able to walk into town to eat and wine taste was a big plus. The porch and yard were where we spent most of our time enjoying the shade of the large trees and watching the neighbors go by."

"Absolutely gorgeous location in Vernonia; right on the bike trail for a nice walk into town or a ride to the pond. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful, with a beautiful garden, yard and back patio. The house is cute with plenty of space and all the amenities you would need! Susan showed us around the barn and we met the animals. Communication with her and Jeff was excellent. We wished the hot tub was working, especially with the cool nights! It was a nice drive down the mountain into...

"House was great only complaint was showed a kitchen which it does not have a full kitchen has a kitchinette....No Oven. Messaged owner and she apologized and refunded portion of stay. WE WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN. "
