The Sandbar is tucked away near beautiful Marquette Park and a short walk to the beach. This rental is spacious and covers the entire main level of a mid-century brick bungalow. The thoughtful décor and artwork are the creation of a local designer/artist. The lower level has a second kitchen, a screened walk out family room, a large bedroom with 2 queen beds, and a full TIKI bar just add the cocktails. This rental is close to the best that Miller Beach has to offer. Chicago is a day trip at 27 miles or take the train!

Very pleasant stay
The home was a surprise. The have such examples of mid-century design was great. Very roomy and great furniture and design. Very walkable to the Dunes parks.

Overall great experience
We loved the property! It was a little difficult with the setup having small kids but definitely plenty of places to sleep. Owner was very kind and helpful. Beach was super close and clean but lots of pot smell so would be worth it if that bothers you to drive to West beach inside the dunes national park. Super clean there and pretty as well. Little bit deeper of water. Both beaches had great concessions. Really enjoyed the walk back from the beach and saw a bunch of deer. Overall would recommend this place. :) *Also not a lot in the way of food around but found a yummy place called Paragon 15 mins away which was fantastic.

When arriving the house was beautiful and very homey and super clean! The area was beautiful and very close to beach! I will definitely be considering in staying here again!

Girls Beach Weekend
We very much enjoyed our stay! The house is well-kept and has such a fun artsy decor, and it was very spacious and comfortably slept 5. The beach was a 2 minute drive away and we appreciated the beach cart, towels, umbrella, and cooler. We felt that it was a safe neighborhood and would stay again!

We were pleased with the house and furnishings. The stairs were a hardship for mom. Amenities were just fine. Could have used a dish cloth tho. There were tiny insects in the tub and sink. They seemed to be originating from the drain. Why not show the actual house in your ad? It’s lovely and in a safe neighborhood. Dawn Brick. Iowa
