"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. Kitchen was basic and it seemed most things like the kettle were old and needed replacing. Beds quite uncomfortable and bedding well used. "Spent a week in Oct here while some family members attende Ballymaloe cooking school. Great location with excellent water views. Property manger was very quick to answer questions. We did have to extend our stay as there is no check ins on Sunday. That was an unexpected cost. "

"We had to come over for a funeral last minute and the staff were ever so helpful and friendly when we needed to drop off our bags. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff are what make the hotel great though!"
