"It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!"

There were two things that brought the rating down from 'excellent' to 'good' -- one of the beds was on its last legs and there was no shower. The bed was very squeaky, and upon inspection we found that the frame was split in several places. "We had an incredible time at Lakescape The cabin was even more beautiful than the pictures online. It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped. The location was ideal, with easy access to Lusty beg and Castle Archdale. We especially enjoyed the hot tub which had beautiful views across the lake. The host was extremely helpful responsive and went above and beyond in making our stay even more pleasant. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable getaway."
