"The cottage was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The location was central to all the places we visited. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early...

"This has everything you need, from the kitchen to bathroom towels, and even more. The house is immaculate, cozy, and perfect for relaxing or seeing tourist attractions around the area. It's centrally located for all the major attractions around the south central and southern west coast of Ireland. The parking is abundant, and there are 2 pubs located just doors away. It lacks nothing!"

"James was the consummate host. While the unit could be called country cottage simple, the welcome was all one might expect in the form of warm Irish hospitality. Situated on the outskirts of Mountshannon, you do need transport, but with car in hand you will be able to visit the highlights of the region. just bare in mind local 'R' roads can be narrow with high hedges, and meeting commercial traffic might test your nerves. "We really enjoyed our stay. Close to the Castle and folk park as well as shops and restaurants. Carol was very helpful with providing tips for dinning, site seeing and shopping. With four adults, it was nice to have the three bedrooms and two and a half baths. We would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay exceeded all expectations. Tom, the owner could not of been any nicer or helpful. The cottage was well stocked. Food markets in Tipperary were close and convenient. The cottage and garden are stunning. We highly recommend staying in the cottage if you are looking for a fairytale. When we first arrived the cottage was hard to find at night, but a quick call and Tom was out with a flashlight to guide us in. What a great host."
