The place is wonderful in every way! It is super clean, the proprietor is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the breakfast includes many types of foods, and the location is less than a 10 min walk to delicious restaurants. Best of all, the locale is really safe. I will go again on my next trip!

Great Vacation In Garmisch
The staff was wonderful and accommodating to all of our needs. Breakfast was great and so was the ambiance. My wife and I would love to stay at the Gastehaus Maria again. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Lovely BnB outside of town. We enjoyed the views, large room and breakfasts. Parking was difficult and had to walk about 10 mins into town for restaurants

The hosts were so kind and helpful! Breakfasts were amazing! Rooms are cleaned every day and the property is beautifully maintained. View from the room balcony was fabulous. Hosts go above and beyond expectations for hospitality. Their English speaking wS better than my German! I highly recommend thei Gaste Haus and will definitely stay there on my next trip! Location is perfect!

Diese Unterkunft ist hervorragend!
Das Gästehaus-Ehepaar war äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer sehr gemütlich und sauber, und auch beim Frühstück mangelte es an nichts. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden das Gästehaus Maria sicherlich wieder einmal buchen.

Spacious room with comfortable beds and dining area (family room). Innkeeper’s were very helpful with local information and recommendations for dining, also for hiking and biking in the area. Gastehaus Maria is great. Herr und Frau Thier are nice people and very helpful with whatever you want to do while visiting. Absolutely lovely hotel just minutes walking to downtown Garmisch.
